Just so you know, when drawing family trees, horizontal lines connecting two people denote marriage or relationship, and vertical lines denote filiation (parents and children). Sibilings can't have an horizontal line connecting them (well, unless they are also married to each other), they appear as branches of one line descending from their parents. And most defenitely you can't put a child horizontally next to their parents! Also, the levels of the tree denote generation, so Mai's parents can only be one level above her. You draw them three levels above, making it seem like they are contemparies with Avatar Roku and Firelord Sozin! After that I stopped watching cause, well, it was terrible

Ikr! You can’t just draw lines willy nilly in a family tree. According to the lines that he drew Iroh, Lu Ten, Ozai, Ursa, and Noren are all married to each other.
@@MrZacOFC We can all understand the lining, but the "normal" black line in this family tree is the line to show marriages, children, and siblings at the same time. It would not be that bad, but also the placing of the persons, who are connected to each other. Sometimes when people are placed together, they are married, sometimes they're siblings, and sometimes they're father-kid relationship...
I would have liked to see Korra's linage traced back further. Since her father and Uncle were northern tribe chiefs and there appears to be a hereditary component to water tribe leadership, at some point she is probably related to Chief Arnook (Princess Yue's father from Last Airbender).
His only child, princess Yue, died (or became the moon) and thus his lineage would have ended. They could have chosen a cousin or something to become the next chief… but it is equally likely that they just voted up a new leader 🤷♂️

And yeah, this extent of research is really shown when he uses that fish merchant from The Storm as the reason for why Aang got 'forzon'.
Fun Fact: Aang and Katara's kids are named after people who are special to them. Bumi = King Bumi, Aang's childhood friend Kya = Katara's mother Tenzin = Based on a Real person named Tenzin Gyatso. So He's named after Gyatso.
Tenzin Gyatso is not just "some real person", he's the current Dalai Lama, the Dalai Lama being the closest thing we have in real life to the figure of the Avatar.

I think it should be clarified that we dont actually know Izumis mother. (Zukos daughter) Zuko and Mai got together In the series but after the series in the books they have broken off and Mai started dating another guy. So we can't actually say who Izumis mother is Also another funfact about her we dont know if shes a bender or not

Maybe I misheard but it sounded like you said Aang ran away after being told off by the fish merchant. While this does indeed happen, that is not what caused him to get trapped in the iceberg, it is what happened in the episode where we *learn* how he got trapped in the iceberg The actual chain of events is like this 1) air nomad council discovers Aang is the Avatar and tells him prematurely due to visions of the coming invasion 2) the council tells Gyatso that he is not training Aang correctly and says he will ship Aang off to another temple 3) Aang overhears this and runs away, is caught in a storm, and freezes himself in the iceberg before he drowns

Well, looking at how many statues were in the temples, and in aangs visions/trips to the spirit world, i think there are much much more avatars before Kyoshi.
I’m happy I’m not the only one that caught that Aang named his first child after is old childhood friend who we saw later in “Avatar the last air bender” King Bumi. That has to be one of my favorite episodes from both shows.

@@HueManatee kyoshi haveing a daughter is from the origional show bonus features. The little girl in the episode the kyoshi watriors is called koko and the special feature said sje was mamed in the honour of Kyoshi's daughter. Yee had nothing to do with that decission, that was all mike and bryon.

Legend of Kora indicates that Toph didn't marry either of the fathers of their children. They probably would have known who their dad's were other wise. They were either really brief relationships or one night stands.
But if that was the case then that means tenzin would’ve dated his step cousin or something, because sokka is the uncle of tenzin and if sokka was the father of suyin then when tenzin dated Lin that would be sweet home fire nation
Starting with Ta min and Roku there could be multiple series following their family line. That would be really good. Also it is interesting that we never come across anyone who claimed to be a relative if kyoshi or the other avatars. You would think that they would be treated in a special way if they were Descendants or previous Avatars
Well, the theory is that said descendants either don't know (as was the case for Zuko), or are so far down the great grandchildren line that it doesn't matter
it would be easier to keep up with complicating of the chart if types of relations were in diferent colors ,something like the line from the father and mother to children is yelow and line between siblings is green and marriage is red ,or something like this (sry english is not first lenguage)

Great job explaining the avatar cycle and their native elements. It all started with Wan(fire), then air, water, earth. So if the latest canon avatar Korra's native element is water so if there is another sequel to the avatar series, the next avatar's native element should be Earth. Interesting

Saying that Toph was married to Kanto and Suyin's father is a bit generous. The show seems to imply that Toph had more casual relationships with men, with her daughters never knowing their dads.
Its that fact he got the most EASIEST names wrong for me.And he also keeps prounocing things wrong aswell if he knows so much about the family you would think he knows the names.

I have a theory. Tonraq and Unalaq are the sons of Sokka and Suki. If Tonraq is the chief of the South Pole, and Sokka's father Hakoda was the chief in ATALA, that means Sokka was after him and then his son (Tonraq) Tonraq and Unalaq father are unknown, in LOK we don't get answers to Sokka child because this is so clear, this is also means that Sokka is Kora grandfather and Kora related to Aang.

This is one of the best animated series that have existed HANDS DOWN ITS JUST AMAZING ALL The way down to the recarnation cylce the amazing storytelling , memorable characters, redemption arc , the war genocide, great soundtrack , and unforgettable moments , it has it all iterally a masterpiece
I away only encounter one Problem, bending can be a bit wishy-washy at times with it's rules. The problem that is the most Notable is of course the one-hit moves some benders could pull, like earth benders just trapping you, water benders could just freeze your entire body (Like how Pakku did during the full moon) Its just that they never really gave an explaination about these tactics, for airbenders they did, sucking the air out of someones body was just seen as the absolute worst thing you could do since air nomads were so friendly.
Actually in the comics the promise sorry for spoiler but in the promise Mai and zuko break up and then there’s smoke and shadow which addresses the breakup but it doesn’t show them making up and we haven’t seen any other new avatar comics

We don't know that salai is the earth avatar before szeto, all we know about him is that he was revered in the time of kyoshi like yang Chen, before szeto was revealed people thought he was salai.
Korra's family line couldnt be extended since her father was supposed to inherit the position of tribal chief. So the royals of the northern water tribe mentioned in ATLA can be linked to korra

This is my first video I just want to say the lines are very confusing my best suggestion is to use different lines for different relationships like avatar line, spouse, and siblings.
