Desmond is the coldest, I swear he is. Also, bringing in John John was a stroke of genius, dude was such a surprisingly relatable character for somebody with a metal plate in his jaw.

All jokes aside, Desmond acting on JonJon was flawless, You could feel the pain, hatred and frustration when he talks about how he got the metal plate in his jaw.

So I had to come back to this video again because I keep thinking about this. Hood Avatar captures the spirit of Avatar The Last Airbender so amazingly in a way I never got to see in kora. I see Mark struggling against all the violence and insanity. It reminds me of Aang and his own struggle with his responsibilities as Avatar. He never wanted to hurt anyone, no matter how many people urged him too. Here, Mark has to balance his anger when his loved ones are hurt vs the peace he knows he needs to bring by breaking that cycle of violence. There's a way and just like Aang found it, Mark is going to find it too.

Damn. Dylan went to the shooting nation side. As a man who is on the sneaking nation side, this hurts. But, I'm glad we finally got episode 4 of this amazing series.

Desmond's acting went crazy on this one... my boy really acted JonJon as if its second nature to him 😂😂

I notice how Leland has a look of suspicion at 17:32 toward Dylan after his exchange with Mark. However, I feel like Dylan didn't actually switch to the shooting nation's side. I believe Dylan is trying to lead Desmond into thinking he wants Mark dead. However, Dylan really wants Desmond dead because he know he is a psychopath, and doesn't want his family to get hurt. In summary, I think Dylan is leading Desmond and the rest of the shooting nation towards a trap.

If you really have been watching RDC, it’s the little things. The evolution of everyone’s acting with an emphasis on Dylan and Leland. Desmond’s ability to portray different types of villain roles and even heroic or comedic one too.Dylan going from no lines to one line to having one of the most jaw dropping scenes in RDC world history.These guys took a good story flipped it, made it more accessible to a larger audience. They even promoted it!!!As an fan who’s been watching for years this is CRAZY I really think we could have an “RDC-Studio’s” in the foreseeable future and i for one CANT wait.

Dylan has stepped his game the fuck up. Everyone's improved (especially Leland) with their expressions and gestures to really communicate emotion, but Dylan has put in a lot of work.

I like that they added a nuisance such as the metal jaw defense. Too bad it was so short lived. So the previous Hood Avatar was Weaving Nation (and apparently had beef with Boxing). I actually wasn't sure if Mark was from a specific Nation, but assuming the order is like in the intro, he'd be Sneaking originally. Would explain why he always wore black underneath the white. So if Dylan really is a traitor, there might be something more personal between the Sneaking Nation leader and Mark. Meanwhile I'm here taking guesses about a parody skit.

So based on this episode, Jon Jon is the second most powerful character in the Avatar series. Able to take full combos from the full hood Avatar and get up to block bullets without any strain.

I noticed how Desmond truly drew contrast between his two characters Jon Jon who at times is brash and has a overall tuff guy exterior but also has a good heart and cares about the people around and under him and took control of his hood because he didn’t want anyone to go threw what he did so he took a more saskue uchia Type of leadership approach. Where as his other character is cold and doesn’t care for anyone but his self and will dispose of anyone and anything that stands in the way of his goal controlling the hood in Desmond’s eyes he was cheated. Probably had a few hood avatars in his bloodline waited his whole life for the gift prepared for it all for his friend to get it which probably didn’t bother him much at first it was his boy until mark ran. Now everyone will pay for destiny’s mistake and Desmond will stop at nothing to show the world that. Definitely excellent story telling
