M. Shadows and Zacky Vengeance dive into the writing and recording for "Nightmare." Directed & Edited by Rafa Alcantara Produced by Alex Reese & TWENTYFOURCORE Productions
I love how Matt gets into his music so much. He seems like a kid jamming out to his favorite band and it's awesome. Few people seem to really love their own art in such a passionate way.
I really enjoy those breakdowns, they're a rare opportunity of discovering these tiny details that make an incredible song. And I was especially looking forward to the "Nightmare" one, truly the best metal song in my opinion!
Some of those drum patterns are phenomenal, I know he is an amazing musician with DT and flying colours but portnoy is a beast within the context of a modern metal band!
So far away. I can. Listen to this song and always feel the power and emotion and I thi k it would be a great break down to see the feel captured from each individual member. Like make this a 4 part and have everyone's take on the emotion behind their writing for their parts
These breakdowns are really both nostalgic and moving. The way they look back at Jimmy and their reminiscing of how fun it was recording and conjuring these iconic songs during their rise.
Nightmares amazing but please for the love of god do sidewinder there’s so little we know on that song and it’s so freaking good it would be amazing if you guys do a break down of it
@@jonanderson7509 I've seen the dvd multiple times and it has nothing to do with any breakdown they have uploaded.... In these breakdowns they focus on every instrument (in the dvd afterlife was based on syn's parts and in the orchestra...)
My son introduced me to you guys several years back - and now he thinks his Mum is totally cool at 51 because I think you guys totally ROCK!! Thanks for ALL that you have done and what you have shared with the world, we are on a journey alongside you all, and more than likely will always be.. With love from a Cool rocking Aussie Grandma!!
WOW !!! So that was a "non fancy bell timber", LOVE THAT !!! And right AFTER IT we have a VARIATION OF THE INTRO RIFF !!! Now I'm getting it !!! It was nice to heard how that ACCENTS with the SNARE appears at the INTRO ... the CONSTRAST ( you know, when it was mention about the vocal screams and clean vocals ) it was very interesting, was also cool that the PIANO wasn't left behind ( was forgotten ) IT IS SO COOL part of this song ... THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO !!!
Always loved this song. One of my favorites. Second song I ever heard from you guys, and it introduced me to an amazing album! I can’t get enough of it!
There are times that I like Mike P. and times that I don't, but I've gotta say, he really did his absolute best to do the Rev right, and boy does it show. Phenomenal album, and phenomenal band.
This is AMAZINGGG!! :' ) I love you guys SO much!! R.I.P Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan!! :' ( I miss you every fucking day!! A7X has saved my life MANY times!! 💗
This album from me is what made me really fall in love with av7x. I loved Bat Country and Almost Easy but this album really did something for me the darkness the grittiness of it I just loved all of this album and this song especially just pulled me in...
I remember when I was sitting playing video games at a friend's house and my other friend rushed into the room so excited to play this song. Lol After that intial hearing it still remains as one of my favorite A7X songs. Crazy that was 9yrs ago.
One of the first A7X song I've ever heard, and the one to turn me into a big fan of them XD going to my first A7X concert in Montreal in July. Can't wait to hear Nightmare live!
Aw yeah, this very song was my introduction to a7x. The ending, to me, made it look like it would go over into the next song, so after liking this song already, I went and listened to the rest, and never looked back. A7X FOREVER!!
Here is one of the masterpieces Avenged Sevenfold. What a creativity. These guitar lines and drums are so incredible, made it in pure darkness and some kind of "evilness". Since the release until today, this song never lost your obscurity. This is metal. And fuck off haters.
I should probably question my parenting but Nightmare is my 4 year old son’s favorite song. We listen to it every time we get in the car. So I love this breakdown in the way that it gives a better perspective of the song that I can share with him then next time we jam 🖤
