Avenged Sevenfold perform "Remenissions" in 2002. Rare performance, enjoy =] & I really wanna know just how long Zacky has had that Jack Daniels shirt for.Lol.=] www.myspace.com/niksyn
epic. not only one of my fav a7x songs, but fav songs of all time... and to think that if it weren't for them breaking through to mainstream, i probably would't have ever heard it.
Love this song, I just love the composition, it's like hardcore, then goes soft, then hardcore again, it's crazy good. This is the first A7X song I've heard, and then I just liked their style and versatility ever since.
@krattos96 it wasn't really stupid, when you think about it it was kind of a suicide. everyone knows not to drink alcohol with medicine. obviously he did it for a reason, and it doesn't seem like he'd gamble his life unless he REALLY didn't care for it.
The first time i heard it i was expecting something faster on Nightmare album... then I understood it, its amazing, beautiful songs, and very complex as always (musically talking)... I love almost all their songs from Sounding to Nightmare...
You can probably find it wherever you download music, or you can buy Hopelessly Devoted To You Vol 4 from Hopeless. It's also floating around RU-vid as a demo of Second Heartbeat or mislabelled as a cover by Bring Me The Horizon.
actuly hes a much better singer now as the tone of his voice has improved and he has much better pitch and clearly he has forgotten some of the lyrics here and they sometimes rush the tempo or extend certain parts in this version their much better now and i respect them for always tryin to develop musically
nope, the demo has almost the same lyrics as the final version.. at least the demo that they released on the waking the fallen resurrected. It's possible he just didnt fully remember the lyrics yet or this is before the demo was even recorded. I've seen a few performances when the lyrics were different but they all seem to have differences almost like he didnt remember them
@Tails1888 How could you say that? The album is dedicated to the Rev, their brother of 18 years. They dont care if its not heavy enough or anything they did it for the Rev.
You can tell it's earlier because his scream is higher pitch. Also, they wrote some songs before the release of Waking The Fallen. For example, they recorded an earlier version of Second Heartbeat in 2002 for the compilation Hopelessly Devoted To You Vol 4.
Holy shit, the lyrics are so different. This must have been before they actually recorded the album. I was actually really confused when I was trying to sing along to it haha
@jankock767 the special of this band is that they are all best friends, even though jimmy is gone. they are awesome. no matter what they put out it still sounds amazing. i just wish they would make songs like off of Waking the Fallen... half screaming
They were in December, I guess sadly they stopped, I'm going to see them on Friday, and I'm going to meet Synyster Gates before the concert!! I'm going to talk to him and tell them they NEED to play Chapter Four when I see them later that night, it's going to be an awesome day.
ye but they still had the song, different lyrics in 02, they also played second heartbeat and eternal rest in 02 too, they played those 3 with all the songs from STST and eventually added them to WTF.
He's going to be at a Guitar Shop in my area at 2PM that day, and the first 100 people to get in get to meet him, so I'm gonna get there around 11:30AM and wait outside, and there's even a chance that I can win a backstage pass to the concert that night.
well you know some bands play songs from an album before they release it, metallica played disposable heroes for example for the first time in 1985 but master of puppets was released in 1986
a7x for life you can also check some early lives from a7x while they hadn't released sounding the seventh trumpet yet but they played some songs from that album
It was *released* in 2003, but it was written somewhere around 2002. Same with Second Hearbeat, the demo was recorded in 2002 and has a 'Seventh Trumpet' vibe to it.
I probably won't be recording it, the concert is at a place where it's really hard to sneak in cameras, but I wanna ask Synyster to tell everyone to play Chapter Four and Seize The Day, because they haven't played those songs since December, I might ask him to make them play Remenissions too but that'd probably be pushing it, haha.
the universe is a dick I'm trying to watch every live video of the song to get a clear idea of the acoustic part.. YET it's either insanely difficult to hear, or in this case the tape fucked up/skip right there? cmon man lol
I just wanted to mention one thing: One day, this band will be having no more comercial success. And that will be the day, Matthew continues screaming!!!! So just be patient :-)
Yeah I know, they shouldn't of stopped playing it, but, I get to meet Synyster Gates Friday and I get to see them in concert later that night, I'm going to tell him that they NEED to play Chapter Four. Haha, going to be a very fun day.
@krattos96 yeah I just found that out, I knew it was organ failure but every vid and website I checked didnt tell me, Such a fucking tragety. Haha but what a great way to be rememberd :)
