This song was my late wife's favorite song by Floyd. She loved A7F and introduced me to them. This was published after she died and it hit me so hard when I just now heard this randomly on youtube. She used to play So Far Away all the time, ironically it is now a song I play to mourn her. Thank Avenged Seven Fold for this cover, it means more to me than you can imagine.

When the crowd helped the man in the wheelchair crowd surf, that hit my heart hard. I've always loved these guys ever since I heard them the very first time but to see fans help this man crowd surf hit me hard because my father is in a wheelchair too and I never see that kind of selfless thoughts and actions toward him, a7x just breeds passionate fans. Love you guys foREVer.

This song hits all the right points. At first they were afraid that you would turn it into another song, in an unflattering way. Your performance respects the original, and hits even harder in the sad places. I remembered my friend who I lost in the war, who I wish was here with us, and would have heard this performance.. I can already imagine the smile that would have appeared on his face.. But he will always remain 22 years old. Miss you my friend, fly as high and as far as you can

My grandma was a die hard floyd fan,and in my teen years I was all about a7x, and we shared our love of music together. This was always our song. It was very centimental to me. She passed away this year due to corona. Now the feeling this song gives me. Makes me realize how she felt when she heard it. I love you grandma. I wish you were here. Stay strong everyone. Our band played this song on 31st dec in dedication to all The families that have lost their loved ones in our town that year (2017). It was a great experience.

Me and my Dad never talked around much. He was more into teaching me the values and purpose on how to live my life and be a pillar to the family. Back then I didn't know that he had brain tumour. It was only during the last stages of his life after the chemo that I discovered and he didn't want me to be sad either by his situation. This song is a connection of two lives without words but by a stronger bond of understanding. Its been 9 years now ever since he passed away. And this song is something that reminds me of the good old days that I spent with my dad. He was my Hero after all. RIP Dad. You were a good man. I hope I grow up to be the man you wanted me to be

The thing that stuck out the most in this video was at the end of the concert when they exited the stage. Shadows was greeted by his wife and kids, and both Brooks and Johnny were very polite to the people at the stairs who acknowledged them. Class acts and good people.

Wish you were here is one of my favorite songs of all time.. I used to tell my friends years ago that A7X needs to cover this which is my fav band... This song and band hit me on a different level.

This was the song played through my childhood. My dad passed away at young age, and have always wished he was here. My kids hear this song relatively often; and my daughter seems to love it. This song shall live on forever.

My favorite band has been Pink Floyd for over 40 years and I did not think anyone could do a cover song by Pink Floyd and have it sound good but A7X, you did this song proud and I have an even greater appreciation for you.
