@@zLukeePs3 Yeah Internet sleuths called that and Joe is basically admitting they nailed it. It's 2012 Steve Rogers. Picard asking the old crew to trust him (and they do) is straight out of "All Good Things...", has nothing to do with "Civil War" (which is what the trailer implies, and it's a totally different scene, that way.)

Tbh for me, this is the best interview with avengers cast/crew so far. Without trying to dig up (which we know they won't spoil anything), but still get so much information. I highly respect the interviewers 👍🏻

This guy is great. He’s like a genuine fan and asks movie related questions. Not like ”What was your favorite day on set?” or ”What item did you steal from the set?” I really dislike those type of questions.

He is a hero in his own right and with every Marvel film, I look forward to his interviews the most. He's a true fanboy and a lover of film and always asks the right questions, and the people he interviews feed off his enthusiasm and show a little bit of their humanity, as opposed to the coldness of many other interviews. This however does make me concerned for the inevitable interviews with Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo. If those guys get too comfortable...

They film many shots that don't make the cut. For example the Thor scene with Captain Marvel if you watch the clip released today he does not smile after he say I like this one but in the second trailer he does.

If u look closely at that scene it’s a different arm shaking iron mans hand. They zoom in on the hand so u can’t tell who it is.

OMG... imagine... imagineeeeeeeeee.... *Last Post credit* a swarma scene.. you see the avengers eating again... the camera pans out... *deadpool ordering a chimichange, proffesor x(turned around so you dont see his face), mystiique sitting there, 4 figures eating with their back to the camera(one being the thing) and it ends with 4 claws going through the camera.. * i would freak the f*cK OUT.

This is 22 storylines in a making and 2 directors working on a huge story is a monumental task and the Russo's really accepted the challenge and will deliver well for this film.

Nothing but a gimmick. The characters only serve the plot not the other way around. These 20+ storylines dont have much to do with each other than cameos and post credit scenes.

That said, I just feel Xmen and Deadpool should just be kept separate from the Avengers in the MCU. They just feel like 2 completely different storylines. Deadpool's ability to break the 4th wall would also upset the tone of the MCU movie presentation style I feel.

They already have Scarlet Witch. Bring in Magneto, Professor X, and one of two more mutants and reveal that Wanda has mutant blood enhanced by the mind stone's effects

That is the exact same reason Deadpool 2 doesnt work. Deadpool 2 suffers from the shifts in tone from the 4th wall breaking and pop culture refrences not allowing us to take the story seriously. How does an audience invests itself in the story and characters when the protagonist keeps reminding them that he's in a movie?

It was funny when Anthony almost talked about the last scene they shot, which obviously to me was the funeral scene because the whole cast had to be pulled in for it, and Joe was almost silently saying "No. No."

3:09 when they are asked about how they can top their best scenes in their last movies and bring up Thor's entrance... it really makes me happy to hear that he mentions about growing up with comic books and wanted to see those on screen and you look how they execute those epic moments and how everyone loves it! Then you look at Rian Johnson with the Last Jedi and how he does the near opposite about that

This interview really goes to show you how much better it is when you treat the people you’re interviewing like people instead of clickbait fodder. This guy got way more interesting sound bites from these guys than most other interviewers because he asks questions no one else is asking. Don’t ask about spoilers they can’t answer, ask about the stuff that only they’ve experienced. More of this.

Ah, the Kevin McCarthy interviews have begun. Highlight of every MCU press tour for me. This guy, a true fanboy with the technical knowledge of film and a great personality, is a hero in his own right and I hope he knows that. He brings out the best in the people he interviews and it always shows their humanity more than other interviews. I'm just hoping he doesn't make Tom Holland too comfortable :P
