It was more of a surprise in the moment and when I saw what others were getting. I imagine with figures that must happen a lot! I am going to reach out about the label. My comments aren’t for everyone i agree. The unboxing was only meant to highlight the artwork and the records. I will be discussing the music in my full review. I was listening to it today and from I heard the records sounded great. Silvestri provides a brilliant score. There are a lot of collectors out there who buy records for many reasons. As I mentioned the music is the most important part.

You're totally right Alan. It's superficial to talk about the artwork. I only order black vinyl and throw out the jackets so I'm not tempted to enjoy the packaging. It's not like Mondo puts any effort into how things look anyway.

@@anibalgalleguillos2327 on my left that is a vintage "space aged" turntable. It's called the Electrohome Apollo that sold in the 70s. You can find some used ones but they can get pricey for one in good condition.

Absolutely. At the time I didn't dabble much in the coloured records so I didn't know what to expect. I have adjusted my expectations now and just assume it could look vastly different. You nailed it at the end there. I have greatly enjoyed it on my turntable over the last two years.

Thanks for checking it out. I get where some people are coming from. There is a sizable portion of vinyl enthusiasts who don't care or are anti-color effects for records. And being critical of that rubs people the wrong way. It was also a wake up call for me in terms of expectations. I didn't have a ton of colored records previously and I had never gotten a record that looked different than the photo. Since this release a ton of colored records look significantly different than the original mock ups. Honestly, I love this release. The records do look awesome (they're just different than what I expected). They sound incredible and it is such a nice piece to have in my collection. I'm debating doing an unboxing for ZSJL. That's going to be a tough one to review just because it's so long. I'm curious when that will finally ship.

It still plays. There is noticeable bump that it glides over and I am concerned it could damage my stylus.

I just got Ragnarok two days ago myself and it was nice. With Avengers only one of my mine had some surface noise but after a good cleaning it was much better. Still glad I got the set. Thanks for watching. Cheers

I think a number of people were displeased with my reaction or perhaps overreaction to the way the records looked and the length to which I discussed that. I think I did not emphasize enough how at the end of the day it wasn't that big of a deal and I'm still incredibly pleased with the set.

You're absolutely right, I didn't know what the hell I was doing. This was my first go at an unboxing, and it was WAAAY too long. Next time.. straight to the good stuff.

If you advertised that red one to me as a blood splatter Dexter Soundtrack I'd be all over it. For me it's just the deviation from the original and inconsistency across the board for each record. I'm debating trying to return the yellow. Just don't know if I want to go through the hassle. Thanks for watching!

@@PopcornandVinyl I've found Mondo's customer service to be pretty great. My IW disc 3 (Mind stone, I believe) was super warped. I sent them a video of it and they exchanged a replacement for me within like a day, took an extra week to get to me - but they shipped it the day my return label registered as shipped on their end. However - I'm a bit of a vinyl n00b - my SECOND set came with what I see people calling "rice krispies" on the EG disc 2 (space stone) - that causes a super loud crack that it consistently runs over each time it passes over those two spots with the defect. Doesn't skip, but definitely POPS over the sound. Consistently, for several spins, before passing the spot. Not sure if I should talk to them about that. Feels unnecessary. The only other record I have from them is Ragnarok, which came out 100% perfect on first try... maybe it's just the number of records in the set caused quality control to fall off?

@@DC-ow4kz I did get in touch and like others have said their customer service team was great. They gave me a few options and I decided to go with a replacement disc. With your Space Stone a good clean might help that issue but there might be some groove damage there. I have numerous records from them and very rarely had an issue, even on pressings that others expressed concern with. I do find a good cleaning eliminates most noise issues. The MI:2 score I just got is warped but not sure if it's enough of an issue to get a new one. Sort of the reality we have to deal with with such a fickle medium.

@@PopcornandVinyl that's what I'm trying to decide right now... if it's worth going through the process again, risking an even worse copy, only to get rid of what seems to be a manufacturing error. It's kinda like the wax mounded up over these two spots.

I'm still waiting on a replacement. I'm hoping I wasn't lost in the shuffle somewhere.
