@@Raximus3000when has that stopped marvel? They are doing this all the time just not all at once and cranked up to 11 like this and the non comic readers/bots just clap and say that it’s for a mythical “wider audience” and “not meant for you” then they demand you clap for this “better version” . . . but also cry about comics still dying for some unknown probably in their minds “bigoted” related reason, then a week after it flops, which makes them do all this again.
That "I...I Freeyes?" from Sabertooth broke my heart. Dude got tortured and turned into their personal pet, and when he final does his job, he thinks he is free only to get brutally killed.
I don't like the guy but to see him in that kind of state, so broken that he's little more then a pet that can barely speak, that kind of makes me feel for the guy.
You know, to have Frank Castle be giving the orders is absolutely fitting. He's definitely the kind of guy that could join X-Force on sheer volume of kills alone.
Despite the fact that Tony is horridly disfigured here and lacks a lot of morals, the fact that he understood the situation fast enough to realize his suit has a failsafe in case he tried to turn on Castle and subsequently realized he must be stopped before he blasted the kids to the 9th sky shows that he had some compassion left in him. At least enough to realize where and why this whole job went tits up.
@ps5426 The avenger the normies watch in the MCU and the Avengers of the comics are a bit different. In the comics they are well known a-holes who consider themselves better. Yet they never really patrol or stop simple crime like spidey and daredevil. They also have unlikable personalities. The movies really improved in making them relatable
@@Mae_Dastardly I think it would be more than that. It was supposed to be a virus bomb not even a nuke and even Hulk in his basic form would have tanked it.
With the massive influx of channels that explain comic book storylines, yours stands out for the simple yet effective editing and notable voice acting, on top of actually reading the stuff you ate making a video on and pointing out the series in the description. Fenomenal job.
yeah but soldiers dont have to follow illegal orders. and the goal of killing a entire people is illegal. and what happend in those camps was both illegal and immoral.@@Archeides
I understand the whole point is that the heroes are fucked up in this universe but does anyone else find it hard to believe that the Ghost Rider the Spirit of Vengeance, whose whole purpose is to punish those who hurt the innocent, would subjugate a minority group just trying to survive and fight back against their oppressors? Also the fact that he's supposed to be basically unkillable but then dies like it's nothing immediately? Edit: Just gonna put this here to clarify what I mean. Not a big fan of comics mainly because I'm a writer myself and prioritize character over everything else. I believe writing a character down solely for the sake of the plot is one of the worst things you can do as a writer especially if it's for nothing. Nothing really against comic books as it's inevitable with so many writers and characters it's impossible to keep everyone consistent it's just a pet peeve I have
@@Goosetavula Lol movies are much deeper than this plot. Stories in comics pay little thoughts to cinematography, composition, lighting, props, soundtrack, audio mixing, acting, etc. Film is a much deeper and complicated art form than comics ever will be.
@@devilhunterred Intricacy/complexity does not equate emotional depth. Yes, there ARE indeed great films that are deeper than this (Children of Men comes to my mind). But ragging on comics which can just as easily approach the same level of intellectual depth only makes you come across as a douchebag.
Really good! It was severely entretening!! About the comic itself, i think it's strange that Ghost Rider is killing mutants, i mean, most of them are innocent, and as a servant of marvel's God, i don't think it would make sense for him to do that.
He's a spirit trapped within a human host, the host has full control over him. Ghost rider is NOT spectre, he's not an angel of justice and he proclaims himself to deliver vengeance, which is often blind
@aerodynamiccow3597 Justice is blind? Look I'm not super knowledgeable on Ghost Rider and his whole sthick but like... Isn't killing mutants just because you hate them (AKA Discrimination) the definition of Justice not being blind?
@@northernalpine4350 probably in this universe peter was jus a normal guy or he was bitten by the spider, but was then left out due to peter not really being a mutant. He doesn't really count as a mutant from what i remember
@@nuhuh334 my point was that there are people with abilities like mutants that aren't considered mutants, all these superhumans can live but all these "mutant" children have to die.
@@SCP-Dr_Bright hulk really got hit with gamma radiation and told tony, cap, widow and the fantastic 4 "Y'all these mfs got an high level zaza, we gotta stop them before they spread it all". Now i would've wanted to see what happened to this universe's peter so bad
There’s some parts that don’t make sense character wise, but the idea of the Avengers hunting down Mutants, realizing their folly, and then dying to inspire a team of X-Men is pretty cool.
I’ve never hated Bruce more that in this story. Ik people love to shit on Cap, but he’s always so inspiring. Despite his misdeeds by the end he always ends up being a hero.
I understood why most of these Avengers worked under Frank freaking Castle of all people. Cap was a puppet, Tony blames the mutants for his condition, Banner has self-hate, Sue was traumatized, and her family still believed in the good of mutantkind (pretty convienient however that its not Johnny or Reed who sells the family out), and of course God knows why Drew was there. But Ghost Rider? The man who can literally stare into his peers, and make them suffer for all the atrocities they've committed? The man who is supposed to be moral judge, jury and executioner and is rarely morally wrong? The man who burns in eternal flames and supposedly cannot die? Not only does he 1. freaking die, but 2. also a massive hypocrite despite its not his mindset that should hinder him from being one, but his powers. Man was done dirty. Also side note, any story where Frank is all but respecting Cap is a story that doesn't end well. Even in Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe, he respected Cap as a worthy opponent instead of making him a b*tch.
Ill admit Ghost Rider could have been takein out from the story and it would still be pretty much the same. I feel like the only reason he was even included was being either the auther really hated the character and decided to shoehorn hin into this otherwise good story out of spite so they finally be able to ki him off due to it being a different universe or they wanted to do more with him but couldn't because of meeting and obvious deadline before the Wendsday of the comic's realse (new comics alway tend to hit store shelves on a Wendsday) and stuggle to come up with any interesting ideas to fleash him out, decided it was best to kill him off early on feeling even if it ment him being completely useless to the story over all.
That’s the thing yeah I’m majority of Nazis were absolute pieces of garbage but quite a few of them were just put in a bad situation they couldn’t say no to quite a majority of them were also teens and kids there’s a saying that goes war is the John kill them selves because the old man in power told them to And guess what did you couldn’t say no
Stumbled upon this channel and man, am I ever glad I did! Very entertaining to watch and listen to... It almost sounds like Morgan Freeman is narrarating and Keith David doing some of the voice work! Love it!
There is no Charles who open mutant school that teaches mutant to control their power, and the mutants in that building are basically refugee, not a special force or anything special. Avengers inspired them to team up.
This just shows just how important the X Men are. Without them, Humans will blindly kill all mutants, resulting their own extinction. Edit: Thanks for grammar check. People should already know the X Men are the liaison between Humans and Mutants. They're the only one who can help Mutants perfectly control their powers. The Brotherhood also offers the same thing but more on megalomania and superiority rather then coexistence. No other teams can thoroughly understand how the Mutants feels because characters like Spider Man, Hulk and the Fantastic Four are a special type of Mutants who are created by external forces. You can not expect someone like She Hulk or Nova understand someone like Nightcrawler or Beast as they got their powers unnaturally and never suffer terrible childhood as a natural mutants.
@@h.a.3954of course it does, the the x-men is an organized team of mutants, they keep humans in check because they are the only group specifically composed of mutants.
Bro how do you only have 36K subscribers??? Your content is AMAZING. Please make more of these! They almost seem like they're visual novel comics or something.
Just wanted to stop for a bit and appreciate the time you took to add the sound effects and the ambience and the voices . . it really amplified the emotion that you need for this powerful story.
I understand this is supposed to be poorly written what if with everything explained as "well not in this universe" but hulk would've absolutely survived that and continued onward. I honestly kind of respect his one minded simplicity of "end all mutants" no ability to ration against him, no "but what about our allies" or "what about the kids" nah he just wants them dead
Poorly written because you don’t get how stories work. Hate to tell you this but Hulk is exactly as powerful as the story needs and always has been and always will
@@higherselfproductions I mean yes. I don’t care about power consistency because it’s non existent and never has been a real thing. If you did care about that stuff then there is no good hulk stories because theee is no consistency
Yooo this is wild man, it’s like everyone’s messed up and you can tell that they are going to meet their demise as the story just drags your soul down watch your favorite heroes suffer… it’s great torcher
@@protag64toons2.0 it wasn't the best but you could tell u had a bat and that the person behind me was nightcrawler so yes it wasn't good exactly but it was distinguishable
One of the most saddest comics I've ever seen and yet it speaks to me and if this was real and I was a mutant I'd fight to the very end my last breath I will not stop because everyone deserves to be free and not killed like animals
First time I discovered this channel. I like the audio usage to make it feel like your watching something instead it just being commentary. Subscribed.
It is so funny how in these elseworld comics the "casual killing" goes nuts. It is like the opposite of standard comics where no one is allowed to die, in elseworld stories EVERYONE is game way too fast.
Dude, two awards are needed here. One for this story AGE OF X: UNIVERSE writers for this dark and introspective masterpiece of a story and the other goes to THIS channel, COMIC STORIES for having some of the most, incredibly well produced, frame by frame adaptations and voice acting (despite the use of AI) that I have probably ever seen on RU-vid or anywhere else for that matter. Comic Stories, these productions are SPECTACULAR!
It feels like whoever wrote this didn't understand the characters, Cap's disobeyed orders more times than I can count. He always does the right thing, regardless of orders.
Idc if its 3 months, you dont understand how multiple realities and people work. You are brain dead to attempt to judge when you arent a finished product yourself. You are the sum of your experiences, different realities can make versions of you look like you but behave differently. It isnt a copy paste scenario yet this is something you're incapable of grasping. If someone killed you and cloned you, would it hurt to know people treat the clone like its actually you? The idea you dont matter but solely the idea of you does? Ignorant weirdo
Aside from the sadness, this was amazingly put together in my opinion, and would love to see more. This specific video was the one that introduced me to the videos and i must say, the way they are told really does get you adicted, i have noticed that you only make dramatic entries, though i would love to see a video on the ghost rider from 1 million bc, or the character in darker alternate realities😅
I know this is never going to see the light of adaptation on a tv screen or movie screen but this is what what if should've been. Unique and mind boggling stories where EVERYTHING is flipped upside-down. Not just one moment or one character but make the entire universe feel so familiar yet so different at the same time.
Out of the comics I chose when I was young, this was one of them. The idea of “elseworld” didn’t click with me so I assumed our mainline heroes went insane. Needless to say this was very nostalgic to me, a lot better than I remember
This video is awesome. Gread voices and a narrator that sounds like Morgan Freeman haha. Really good video editing too. Your subscriber count should be way higher!
"Thanks, Cap. Will never forget how you helped us on that day when you… came to our home specifically on a mission to murder all of us... then actually killed a bunch of my friends... then felt bad because I guess you forgot children exist or something. But you're definitely still the good guy and not just a murderous idiot." Comics, everybody.
poor sabertooth....i know he's a bad villain and did pretty bad things but still...i cant just not feel sorry for him..its heartbreaking how he was struggling to talk and thought he was gonna be free but then gets brutally get his head squished...poor guy..😔
