What are your depth buffer settings? I've been looking everywhere and you seem to have possibly figured it out with the lack if flickering in first person
Mine is normal, there's not much you can do about flickering, I think it depends more on the Shader you're using, I don't use qUINT_MXAO for gameplay, only for screenshots. For gameplay I use IMMERSE_MXAO, apparently it adapts better to Arma 3, but it still flickers but very little or almost imperceptibly
Because Arma 3 is very poorly optimized, playing in ultra or low makes no difference, what affects the fps here on my pc is the rendering distance and shadows
