Though the reboots took it even furher and attributed IRL American warcrimes to Russia. It’s strange because the SAS are supposed to hide their face and conceal their identity in public, Ghost is the only one who does that and seemingly his mask logic follows that, yet no other SAS in COD ever hide their faces.

@@nicolasfigueiredo6167 Torture isn't a proper method of information when she can just lie to stop the pain. Pressuring her in conversation is better since they can verify her answer. ALSO, torture is a war crime and we need to view the characters as "good guys" or we wouldn't root for the characters in their story.

Makarov sounds like my 15 years old class mate with speech problems and without front tooth at least for person who speaks russian he sounds like that, in mw2 and mw3 his voice were more deeper and charismic and evil at the same time even though russian language become almost completely understandable in modern call of duty
As a native russian speaker I find it sometimes comedic how the voices are chosen. They lack the fundamental knowledge of russian dialogue to sound authentic. Every character has strange accents to them when speaking russian besides a few like Nolan or Romanova

He did his job completely great and could be one of rare good things in mw they didn't even try to translate the sentence in Russian correctly using auto translation like "враг моего оппонента мой друг" while correctly it wil be "враг моего врага мой друг" even goggle translator translates it correctly

One of the main cinematography philosophy Blur studios used for these cutscenes was "make the cutscenes like how you would film in an actual set". Cameras are being placed in authentic places, camera movement mimics how it would look in live action etc. Other games take advantage of the digital space and get more freedom with their camera, but MW reboot deliberately erases that luxury for a unique aesthetic. It's absolutely genius.

If I remember correctly, Ghost jokes earlier in the mission about Soap courting an oligarch to get free sport cars. Wouldn't surprise me if Soap actually took that offer half seriously if she wasn't so hellbent crazy and greedy
