Yeah i get that and his "advanced defensive stats" went down from the previous year, but come the 4th quarter he was putting clamps on Kyrie, Wall, Lillard etc..
I believe it has to do with missing games and inconsistent on ball defense. He goes for the strip all the time or at least that's the way it feels to me. That's just nitpicking though. The dude is way above average for the league.
A 5 man team consisting of Patrick Beverley, Avery Bradley, Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green & Anthony Davis would cause every coach in the league to go bald 😂
SEANZDABOMB no, AD is an overall better defender than Rudy bcuz he's more versatile on the defensive end... Rudy's a great rim protector & he's decent switching out on perimeter players but nowhere near as mobile & good at it as AD is plus AD can give you the rim protection too
Welcome to the Lakers. 😀😀😀 Avery Bradley is the reason Lebron James can play the 1-spot = defensive protection against point guards. Previous experience with 5'9 teammate, point guard Isaiah Thomas.
Notice how he didn't play defensively with passion once he was traded to The pistons, then the Clippers, then the Grizzles. The Celtic's was his home smh
I am in no way discrediting this mans defensive prowess. But MOST of this is just simple effort and not quitting on plays. Oh and of course great athleticism. I still dont understand why we dont have more defensive dawgs in the NBA. GUARANTEED A LONG CAREER. aside from injury.
