He's only a true Sophomore this season but the stage is never too big for him and the pressure is never too great. Mark my words, he will be a star for K-State.
As everyone who has seen this video either already knows or who has learned from this video, Avery Johnson may be the most extraordinary player-and person- in college football today. As a KU Jayhawk (Medical School), when I first saw him play, I thought "what in the world is K-State thinking by having recruited this little kid"? Like so many other college football fans throughout America, I quickly learned how wrong I was. Not only is Avery a superbly gifted and talented athlete, he is as fine a young man who has ever competed in college football. He is extremely intelligent, remarkedly mature, and humble yet supremely confident. Additionally, contrary to what is seen so frequently in these NIL times, it appears that Avery is intensely loyal. I could not be more pleased that Avery is playing for Kansas State. Although K-State is obviously KU's biggest sports rival, I am extremely pleased and proud as a native Kansan that K-State has Coach Kleiman (perhaps the most talented and class college football coach in the country), who is able to recruit and (I predict) keep Avery Johnson and so many other fine and talented young players in his program at Kansas State. Absolutely marvelous. R. Henry, M.D., FACEP (Fellow, American College of Emergency Physicians)
Likewise, as a cats fan, I’m excited for the future of Ku football. Leipold is developing great young men and the ceiling is high for the program. I believe iron sharpens iron, having a good ku program only elevates Kansas state and the state of Kansas.
@@TheD_R_G LOL Exactly what i was thinking. Cant imagine this being part of a recruiting pitch. "Now let me tell you about the great home depot we have and the schools in the area."
