I have just received a watch today I got because I sold another one that had a similar blue AR coating that I just could not like. It is like fog, a blurry dial no thanks

on the site you can see a wrist-roll in the publicity shots, showing that blue refraction almost as if they think it's a feature as Ben points out, it loses quite a lot of the legibility, but more importantly, detracts from the strength of the design language on what is really quite a beautiful watch first thing i'd do is swap out the crystal for something that allows you to see that detailed dial

I would prefer mechanical movement there like Seagull small second maybe ? St36 ot St25 if I'm not mistaken.

It's not a meca quartz beacuse it doesn't have the mechanical chronograph component, right? It's a VH31. I know what they mean though and it feels like Seiko should have called the VH31 movement that instead. Maybe a rebrand or did they coin this nickname for smooth quartz and we're just going with it?

24 hr sub dial as he explains.. it’s also showing 22:00 which is correct

Overpriced for a megaquartz movement and mineral crystal! For the same price I can buy a san martian automatic with sapphire. The build quality and lume will be better with a san martian
