I think anyone doing 700 EDM shows of this caliber in that time span would make them break. The thing with EDM shows is they go all night and it's not just the amount of people or loudness it's the atmosphere. Most other genres have both slow/sad & fast/happy songs so they can change the pace of the show if they get tired. EDM on the other hand is always fast and typically songs are extraordinarily happy or if they are about sad topics the pace of the song doesn't reflect that. It is very manic music. Someone going to an EDM show for 1 night will experience an overwhelmingly amount of euphoria, but I imagine doing this every night would make you extremely fatigued and numb.

Chloe hearing about the numbers surrounding his shows is almost unfathomable, from 2008 to 2016 he had over 820 confirmed shows, with a large large majority of those happening between 2012-2015. While the number is never exact it’s also said that he played somewhere between 250-320 shows in 2013 alone, at one point having to play 10 shows in a 1 week period, with two of those shows in the same night nearly across the world from each other. These numbers don’t even include the shows he apparently booked himself without his managers knowledge during the last few months of his touring life before he retired. He was reported to have been heavily pushed by those around him to continue touring for the monetary gain of themselves. To top it off during much of this inhuman schedule he was forced to endure he was also heavily addicted to both alcohol and painkillers, having been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis due to the former very early in his career (Which to be diagnosed with acute pancreatitis at the age of 21 years old only adds to the sad tale of his life. There were people talking about how they’d been life long alcoholics after hearing about his death and were now in their 40s and 50s and had only just now been diagnosed with pancreatitis and they were all shocked that he was diagnosed with it at 21. Thats not just a few sips here and there to quell nerves.) He relapsed on both twice as his schedule only picked up and at times was forced out of the hospital prematurely by his team to continue touring, even after undergoing emergency surgery to remove a burst appendix and gallbladder brought on by his drinking. He never wanted the spotlight.
