Born in ‘93, but in 1999 this came out. Can’t imagine the energy/hype that came over the club/rave when this banger came on. Everyone on top of the line E, rolling hard. Coke heads rushing out of the bathroom to get a prime dance spot lol
No one really did coke then like they do now. It was all pills and we were all sweaty and happy. Unless you had blue smurfs, then you were sick and got a boner everytime you dropped a pill.
I wish I could build a community of us people together-like a subreddit or something. I really want to hang out with you all. I'll leave my telegram in my about.
It's still rockin' in 2022 100%! All these years later. This nastalgia will never fade and will keep Aviici with us for eternity. May he be resting in peace
2024 & Zombie Nation is still a hit. Sports events play this at every game and college games all over the US play this song to hype up the crowd! RIP AVICII
Okay looks like i need to explain to people who are clearly too stupid to know anyway else. Avicii didn't plagiarise. He didn't completely write in his own form of music into the song either. He quite simply played a song from the glory years and instead of ruining it, he just played it how it should always be played. That really isn't difficult to comprehend. It's not rocket science, it's not sorcery. It's just being a dj. Anyway, now that that's over, this song is the anthem to my childhood and avicii did amazingly well. I can't stop playing it!!!
Alessandro Dalla the sad thing is most people will never know that name, will never know the simple brilliance of the original. I'm sure he never got close to what that song was worth in his settlement.
Imagine being the dude who wrote this simple 5 second looping melody for a niche little Commodore 64 game and then it just takes the world by absolute storm for decades to come.
I was totally addicted to Lazy Jones back when I was a shit grubbing about 10 year old. I took my kids to see the new Pixar movie Elemental on the weekend and instantly recognised that track. It's in the stadium scene in the movie.
This song is very famous among Japanese baseball fans because Yasuaki Yamazaki, a popular and talented pitcher who belongs to Yokohama DeNA Baysters uses this song for his theme song!
What amazes me is the tune is so catchy it is 2017 and this song came on the radio and all me and my family were doing was basically doing whet the crowd did sing along with the tune doing the woooooooh bits
+m0arpheus As well as the set design and lighting design, the team also created new technology to allow Tim to actually DJ live (ie change the playback speed of any song to match the next) and have all digital media and lighting cues change - in perfect sync - with him. It was one hell of a project!
+m0arpheus Good question. True, it was very far from an everyday gig. First of all we created 3d mapped visuals around an organic object (the head) - in itself no easy task as we were using software (mad mapper) to "force" projectors to focus beyond the capabilities f the glass. Then we used Ableton to create lighting cues and sync'd via midi. Then we reconfigured how most DJs select tracks. Most plug a thumb drive into a CDJ and "go", but as Tim wanted to be able to actually DJ (ie change the playback rate of each dog so as to mix in the next) we needed an interface that would enable our sync'd video content and lighting to be able to - instantaneously - adapt to his "mix". So, we wrote custom software to allow him to choose tracks from an iPad that would load each into whichever deck he wanted. This was done through a Mac Mini under each CDJ. Once he hit "play" the i-Pad would "grey" out so as to stop him from accidentally loading another track onto one already playing. And the best bit was that it worked! When we were rehearsing in Vegas before Coachella '12, I was standing in the head watching the video and lighting slow down and speed up as we tested the system. Of course what you don't see in these videos is when the top of the head took off and flew across the venue with Tim in it. That was a fun little gag I added. Sorry there's no "go study x,y,z" answer, but melding existing software, and writing new seemed to fulfill my vision for his show. Oh and thanks for the compliment.
What a guy! ◢ ◤ This is f👀king awesome...loved the original but I love this so much! The fact that you can see Avicii bouncing to the track, looking like he's loving it too! So sad to think of him now, yet happy and forever greatful we had him for a little while. So talented and a beautiful person inside and out.....❤️ Fly high with the Angels now Sweetheart, you can rest easy knowing you were loved by so many and you left your mark on many hearts! 💕◿◸ 💕 #Avicii #TimBerg #Legend #LegendsNeverDie #Sweetheart #AlwaysRemembered #4EverLoved ✌️☮️ 🎧🎵
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ This song is from Zombie Nation and the Song called Kernkraft 400... I know this Act, i'm from Germany, too... What's you're problem? 😂 😂 😂
@@baumpatrick6433 ok you are right, its other way around:) but this video is presented if it is Avicci who made it. He only play the track. Nothing special about it..
The amount of people who can't distinguish the song from the artist is shocking. The ARTIST is Zombie Nation, and the SONG is Kernkraft 400. Late 90's techno... So good...
Heard this at love parade roundhay park in 2000, the croud went mad, from the bits and pieces I remember about that day (enjoyed a few chemicals that day) hearing this takes me straight back there 😊
