Been a while since I was last there in 2015, I think it’s much more developed now. It was halloween and it was jam-packed so we left. Will put it back on the to do list.
Damn, another part of Tokyo that I had no idea about. I knew about second hand shops in Tokyo but didn't know there was an area that had a concentration of them. I am really interested in Ten though. Apparently my Scottish grandfather started me on tea as a baby and it stuck, as I don't care for coffee and almost never drink it. But tea, now there's a place I could spend an hour or two at. I will be darkening Ten's door probably more than once. My Tokyo education continues, thanks Nathan.
@@cvodb My tendency is to get out of cities into rural and small towns. Never really studied much about Tokyo just hit some of the major tourist spots. But looking at spending more time in the city on next trip. So learning what I don't know. Which it turns out to be a lot more than I thought, I didn't know. Thanks for more tips.
Just wanted to report back and say that the TEN tea stand is excellent! I had the matcha with a nice bean sweet that was shaped to signify the Year of the Dragon. Unfortunately they didn’t know about you or the discount, but they were very sweet nonetheless. Considering how strong our pound/dollar is by comparison, it’s more than fine to pay the regular price.
Thank you for supporting TEN and glad you had a great experience. I've reported the issue about the discount and apparently they have recently hired someone new and they will be informed! either way thanks for your support :)
Your Guide seems really friendly ! Ten tea stand looks so cool, but i would be scared to go in lol.I could imagine me spending hour going through all those thrift store! Thank you for the video
hmmm,... I think maybe you will like Mitaka more ... it's so green and beautiful ... Dasai Osamu committed suicide here but I can't find exactly where ...
