I worked at Scott Elementary School and they had classes taught in 100% Spanish. Just to let you know there is diversity here.

I like your videos but you tend to gloss over the rising homelessness and bad areas that any real salem resident would know. Like the NE area or Downtown, i’ve never heard you mention how they’ve literaly kicked out every homeless person of their camp, sterilize it, and repeat. I think you should be more brutally honest to your viewers and clients.

I have lived in many place including Salem, Oregon. Belive you me, Salem was the worst place I have ever lived in. I purchase house there and soon after that my home was broken in and they kept comming back. Day or night it did not matter, they keep coming back. Also,, police did not do much about what was happening. Also, as my home was next to a park homeless ppl were camping there at the park and coming into my yard. They were having 3 some in the day light, starting fires, selling sex, pooping in my drive way, and so much more.. Due to taking few years for my home to be sold, I felt like I was trap there. Each day it passed, I was getting more and more depress and paranoid. Day that my home was sold I moved out of that city, and within next few weeks I moved out of that state. I been out of there for few years now and I still have residual PTSD from that place. For some people, it might be a okay place, but for me it was worst place I have ever lived in. Many of my ex co- workers told me that reason why there were so many strange ppl/situations at the Salem were due to prison/jail and state mental hospital. After they get out of the hospital and doing their times, some ppl just stay in Salem and some of their family members moved into Salem also. I dont know if this was true, but sitiation was bed and it was getting worst by the time I left.

Main reason I hate it here is too many damn people moving here. Salem is a small city and it’s quickly becoming overcrowded. Driving around town really sucks too for the same reasons

Sorry, the only thing I enjoy about Salem is my family and the spring flowers. Beware of Ex-cons, homelessness, many unstable mentally ill walking the town. Everyone has Stockholm Syndrome. It's pretty 3 months out of the year...that's it!

Salem does not lack diversity, we are a fairly diverse community and as we have been growing unfortunately that always brings crime. We should focus on trying to lower the crime rates and everyone stop telling people that Salem can be awesome lol. Everyone just say it is always raining and we will not become so populated

I lived in Monmouth oregon. It's close to Salem. Went to college there it's a nice quite town that I would retire but I would never live there now. I lived there for 26 years until I moved to Florida which I wish I would've done it sooner.

1. There’s a lot of raza in ne salem she probably lives in south salem where there’s hardly any colors. 2. Capital FC hopefully will grow bigger and bigger. 3. It is really hard to live here without a car. Everything is really scattered for a “small city”. Hopefully they dont make more apartments just brings more traffic. And we dont want mire traffic dont move here!! 4. The weather is amazing you get all seasons here. Doesn’t rain as much as 20 years ago dint be sissy’s lol

I've been living in Salem for the past few years. Cons for me... no good food places. To much of a conservative suburbs feel. Drivers suck. Never lived anywhere, and I have lived in a lot of big cities and small rural towns and never had such shitty drivers. A lot of people who live under the poverty line. Salem doesn't seem to help homeless. Trying to get any good service for home projects is hard. My advice is if you have the means to move or not move to Salem, OR. Stay away.

Have fun. We live just outside of Salem and we are trying to get out. Tweaker town USA on one side of town. Third World country on the other. And drivers do not give a shit about the law
