Of the blues what color is the cool & the warm blue? Not sure if ultramarine is a cool & which blue is considered a warm blue? Ty for these as just a beginner & believed could or should only mix cool color together but now see you can mix warm & cool! Ty!!
hi - i view the color temperatures on a sliding scale, as colors can appear quite differently depending on what color is next to them. In general, a warm blue would have a bit or red in it... so it will skew slightly more purple when next to other blues. I'd normally consider Ultramarine a warm blue - however you'll notice that colors can vary depending on the brand you use. Cobalt blue tends to skew cooler, so you could try that as well if you need! @@PaperWandStudio One RU-vid artist said that Cobalt blue (and found different brands lean towards those) but found a Cobalt blue by Paul Reuben which is more neutral & can do nice mixes! Think green is a harder color for me at moment to know (most lean yellow imo)? Takes awhile & just doing it to see what we get (but write it down) as if get good one & then can easily forget (ummmm did I use Q rose or 🤔) Thank you so much!!
