I needed this so badly! I get my warm and cool colors mixed up and I've watched tons of videos on color theory and still wasn't getting it. But the way you explained it and made the color wheels side by side, I totally get it now! Thank you so much for this video!!
This was super useful, thank you. I have finally grasped the difference and how to identify them more easily. Hopefully this will help me become more confident in my colour mixing. Just one question, though...where does brown fit in? Is it just considered to be a neutral?
Hi! Happy to hear it was helpful! 🙂 Brown is a mix of colors usually. ( Unless you use it out of a tube pre-mixed.) And depending on which colors you use to mix for brown it can lean warm or cool also. I generally mix up complimentary colors to get greys, browns and similar neutrals.
