Hello. Being in my sixties now I have worn different styles dating back to the 1960s. The pressure is off, because I no longer care to much about fashion. I dress more for comfort. I understand thinking about how you look, but really it's not important. I take a person by their nature and not by what they are wearing. To be honest you are a good looking guy , you have a slim physique, so you will suit most styles. Also I think wearing colors is something you will wear well more so than dark colors. If that helps. Don't worry what others might think, it's your personal choice.

A lot of the points you raise resonate with me at the moment. I am coming out of a period of having worn almost exclusively formal items: sports jackets & dress shoes/boots etc. to now exploring more casual, but smart, workwear options. I have found the advice of yourself and urban lad very helpful in this respect. Every day doesn't have to be a pocket square day lol. The jacket buying thing is a problem though, six so far this year at a quick count 😊 Great video 👍

Wow, almost all of these resonate. Especially on having too many jackets. As a college student, I rarely wear my blazers and suits, but they are my favorite pieces. Jackets are also the coolest thing I can wear on the day to day, but here in Texas, cold weather can be as short as Nov-Feb.

How often do you wash OCBDs? You see people online say after multiple wears. I generally wear them directly on my skin. Seems odd to not wash it after that?

Yo Luke, I'd like your opinion on wearing patent leather shoes as everyday footwear. I live in a third-world country and rely on public transport. I've noticed that dirt tends to stick more onto regular leather shoes, whereas with patent leather, I can simply wipe them clean with a cloth. Currently, I own three pairs: a captoe, a wingtip, and a loafer. I wear them with suits and business casuals. What's your take on this?
