I miss you for a while there my dearest plant friend..where was you for the pass month or maybe it was me who was missing....lol..we love you in Canada. You make me change everything from dirty soil to leca now and omg I can't control the growth of my plants which are mainly philodendron..then u made me put most of them into a moss pole..what's next for us my Australian girlfriend?
Do I need small Leca for smaller peace lilies? I have this one and ordered two variegated types. I have the “normal” size Leca. 8mm-16mm or something? Please help Nora ❤❤. Thank you if you see this.
Hello, thank you for watching and subscribing. Check out this video that gives a bit more detail about the solution: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7xwxUlCU354.html
@@TheLecaQueen makes sense. I just started my Leca journey with all your great advice with spring/summer in Melbourne. Thank you again! I hope they’ll be good in winter and that the cold water won’t bother them too much next year hehe ❄️🥶
It depends on the plant, the type of roots it has, what medium you are using and how many times you are looking to repot. Using leca, I can use a bigger pot knowing that root rot is not an issue. I also know my plant is going to grow so much bigger hence the bigger pot. I would not put my small hoya in a 20cm pot. Hope this helps.
@@TheLecaQueen thank you...I currently have my plants in soil but I'm slowly moving to leca. The plants im thinking of moving to leca are my Aglaonemas and my peace lily. One is in a 6 inch( 15cm) pot and the other is in a 8 inch(20cm) pot. What size self watering pot would be safe ?
Hey Nora I need help! Most times I repot my leca plants all the roots rot quickly after. I dont change the conditions or nutrition just repot. Do yoi have any idea why this would happen? Thank you!
Hello, that is interesting. I don't think I have had that happen. It is a bit hard to pinpoint from your description. I would examine each step and see what is going on. What plants specifically? Do you disturb the roots or pry the leca off? Are there any pests, is the new leca clean? Lots of variables....
