Hey Bro, i am from Bangladesh🇧🇩 but the pan was 5 cent just, not 0.5 dollar...you gave the man 2 dollar and the pan's price was 5 cent only...also the bakorkhani was 8cent only but you thought 80cents🤦♀️ by the way you are really kind and friendly person...you gave everyone extra money and that was so nice
@harry You are absolutely right about the immigration and airport issues. Even as a Bangladeshi living in the USA when I visit Bangladesh every year I find the experience inside the airport quite difficult. The reason behind this is Dhaka airport is managed by a government organization and most of the employees are corrupt there. There are some policy issues too. However, the government is building a new airport terminal, and it's huge ($2.5 billion investment). It's almost complete probably take 1 more year. The government is thinking about giving the management of the airport to an international private company that has experience operating other international airports like DXB.
Are you stupid or what, writing comments like this without having basic knowledge about our countrie's whole situation! Whatever the situation we're in now, is for a reason. First of all, country is just started to come out from dependencies and started to put together itself for growth and prosperity. As a matter of fact, it's rising from ashes, so there is no magic stick here in for BD, it's just a stiff uphill struggle. There're no natural resources or not much to go around; instead constant natural disaster, overflowing uncontrollable ignorant population(sorry to say), as well as rumorus and mob culture; all in all, it's a great recipe for disaster ! Nevertheless country is now going through huge correctional process, which may take decade, so until then, we have to brace ourselves. As I mentioned, there's no magic stick for BD. Apart from that, corruption is widespread among officials as well as among general public, which is the biggest issue and there's no quick fix. So it's not gonna be easy to sterilize everyone overnight, it's a long and painful process for us and for our beloved country. Oh there is a solution, lets discovered some liquid gold, then again, to control that, we will need governments with biger stick and smaller carrot, like in China, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt. Hah....
I had been watching u for hours now, the best part of u is that u r down to earth of a person ; who has no ego issues. Not every people traveling to a different country have that ! Your heart & your actions separates you from all the other travel bloggers! Lots of love & respect ❤️

I didn't expect the pink museum to be so beautiful, and it looks so romantic! I thought you meant that pillar when you said bananas, my misunderstood, lol! My impression of Dhaka is the smile on people's faces when they see Harry, it shows that the people there are very friendly! I found that the secret of the sweetness of Harry's speech is that he likes to eat desserts, haha! Anyway, Bengali dessert looks delicious, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍🤩🙌
I am glad if all travelers also checking rivers, beaches, public toilets, public transports, traditional markets and other public spaces in developing countries where they visit. For supporting - "Green" & Clean Environment ! Enjoy your trip, Harry ! Terima kasih & take care. Best regards from Java Indonesia.

OMG…. I just finished watching your last blog and this popped up 🫶🏼. I hope you enjoyed Bangladesh and hoping the nation left a soft spot in your heart for Bangladesh and it’s people 🇧🇩
Harry - just love your attitude to life and the environments you find yourself in - even the negative seems to come out as positive from you - really liked your end analysis - Bangladesh the place of my birth - i really hope more and more people go there so it can imrpove without changing - by the way hope you visited Sylhet ( where i was born)
I am from Bangladesh and it's been 10 years I haven't been there. Seeing you exploring the city delights me as I can remind all the emotions, memories there. I found it a bit funny that you were asking the BakarKhani guy where to throw the garbage, because no one cares about that, people just throw the garbage on the street. I liked the rawness of your videos.Keep it up bro!
Greetings from the Philippines to the friendly people of Dhaka. This is my first time to see Bangladesh if not because of Harry. I really thought that Bangladesh is a very poor and underdeveloped country. But its different from what i thought. Btw, Bangladesh is formerly East Pakistan after it separated from India together with West Pakistan ( now Pakistan ) when the subcontinent India got its independence from Great Britain.
I heard it's actually a pretty rich land, gifted with fertile fields and rivers. The problem is the corruption in their government and mismanagement. Kinda like ours.
Welcome to Bangladesh! I must say the people you met in the video were amazing, we are very hospitable country. But as you said, the logistics in the airport is not so good, it's true sometimes but not in all the time. As a citizen of this country, I feel sorry for that. Anyways, hope you had an amazing time being in Dhaka! I just want to know will you make more videos here in Bangladesh? Will we wait for those?!
That Beatle leaf seller is very kind hearted. He could have given you the wet nuts which make a person a bit high. Instead he gave you the dry ones which is totally neutral. And also added sweetens. Though the person beside him was provoking him to give you the wet nuts. But he didn’t listen telling him that you won’t be able to take it's punch.
Keep it up Harry. Keep showing us Bangladesh. The primary school I went to in Lahore/Pakistan was owned by a Bengali and he stayed in Pakistan till 1974. My mum told me about this (I wasn't even born then). He sold the school and moved to newly independent Bangladesh. I hope he did well in Bangladesh. I feel so nostalgic thinking about his connection to my city and the decision that he took to move back to his roots ........
Fayyaz Alam your mom absolutely right at that time lots of Bengalis were in Pakistan even Chinese Iranian restaurants run by Irani owners. Those were golden days as per my Mom, politics rather dirty politics divided this Land of Pure.
@@roohizamir5746 Pakistan was stronger together. I am a Bangladeshi but I feel the leaders of that time did terrible mistakes, also oppression. The urdu speaking leaders underestimated bengalis and their contribution. Bengali people are hard working and hard work always pays off
@@shawonahmed5775 you are absolutely right that it was a wrong political decision due conspiracy and Power played to break Pakistan and we lost our East wing, undoubtedly Bengalis are hardworking very much talented in every Art forms and some of your exports are unmatchable. I still have my Auntie living in Decca I wish to visit once in life.
I'm glad you were able to make it into Bangladesh. They probably think you're related to Messi with all the craze that was going on. These vlogs are gonna be great.

Salaam Alaikum Harry glad you are enjoying your welcome in Bangladesh 🇧🇩 looks like you having a few language and translation issues, which will eventually sort itself out Insha'Allah, the Mittai you bought and were eating at the end, if I am right your favourite one the brown one which you eat first is Habsi Halwa, your second favourite one you eat the long white one the one you said was wet inside is Rassgulla they can have coconut bits on top, and the square one with the silver on was a Warfi, you also had Gulab Jamun in the box which you never tried, that was the Pakistani names of them, but India and Bangladesh can sometimes have different names to them but they all usually mean the same. Well I hope that helped a little Sire , Challo Chelleh to the next vlog Harry stay safe God bless 🤲♥️🤲
Thanks so much for sharing mate! I'm really loving it so far! I'm so keen on exploring more of what Bangladesh has in store for me and I can't wait to meet the friendly locals! Cheers!
Harry you're getting Bangla numbers wrong. People saying 8 taka, you're thinking 80, Paan was 5 taka, you got it as 50 taka! Watching you savouring Bangladeshi food is so heartwarming! Great vlog!
Look what I found! I was wondering about the orange beards everywhere. "Orange hair -- whether it's beards, moustaches or on heads -- is everywhere, thanks to the popularity of the coloured dye produced by the flowering henna plant. "Putting henna on has become a fashion choice in recent years for elder men," confirms Didarul Dipu, head fashion journalist at Canvas magazine."
@@HomeTravelGardenInspo because it's been told that our prophet Muhammad (SAW) used to put colour from Henna plant in his beard, so our old aged people do the same to show respect towards Our prophet.

5:32 - Goodness Harry, the things you do for your vlogs. 😆 Wow, the pink palace is epic! Such beautiful architecture and color. Reminds me of the pink Catholic church in a resort here called Villa Escudero (only about 3-4 hrs drive from Manila). It too has been turned into a museum. I hope you can go visit that resort when you return to PH. Love it there. Been there 3x. It showcases the old rural way of life here. They also have a cultural show featuring all the native dances of PH that i would love for you to watch. :)
