The 2002 AVP season marked the beginning of the partnership between Elaine Youngs and Holly McPeak. The new duo proceeded to win their first four AVP events until Annett Davis and Jenny Johnson Jordan ended their streak in Manhattan Beach.
Fans didn't have to wait long for a rematch as this quartet of Olympians met again just two weeks later in the Finals of the Chicago Open.
