OK SINCE SOME OF YOU ARE DUMBER THAN I EXPECTED: I thought it was so obvious I wouldn't even have to explain it but since more and more people think they're so quirky and edgy to comment things like "if there was no microphone then how was it recorded🤪🤪" the point of the video is to show Avril singing spontaneously, not D I R E C T L Y to the microphone like the one on stage or during acoustic performances.
maybe, just maybe... you could have written "...naked voice..." or "... unprocessed voice ..." or "... no auto-tune ..." or "... without electronic enhancement ..."... just saying... you are responsible for what you say, not what we understand of what you say. if your speak is unclear, don't expect clear understanding either... words have meanings... btw, I understood correctly what you've meant, but just because I was not taking (as I don't usually do either) what I read literally... what about changing your title now? again... just saying😉... (flies away)
@@reversengineer I'm sorry but is kind of OBVIOUS what he means.. no microphone means she is singing natural. She don't need auto tunes or anything else to sing, so doesn't make sense write she is without auto tunes or anything else if she never did it. What really need is people go back to school and learn the basic. PS. A person that need auto-tune or anything else to be able to "sing" should not even "sing" is not an artist at all! Avril is pure talent and people like her don't need that.
She has a really powerful voice. That first clip gives chills at how all great things start small. You're never too good for the streets, because often the streets make you.
Yeah people forget how strong her voice is. Like yeah, she can't do runs like Beyonce or Jessie J, nor can she belt like Loren Allred or Jennifer Hudson - but Avril has such a beautiful tone and so much force behind her voice. Also she's been in the industry for over 20 years now. Her vocal training spans two decades now, she's had way more experience than most singers popular today. And whenever one of her songs come on and she sings one word - you instantly know it's Avril. Literally no one sounds like her
Chill out, what ya yellin' for? Lay back, it's all been done before. And if you could only let it be, you will see that I am the funniest YouT*ber of all time. Admit it, my dear follow*r tr
If you are saying about her voice, it isnt true. In each album she uses a different voice, Under My Skin has a really deep voice. Or if you check her lives perfomances from each era you can see that her voice changed (normal to a singer)
She can SING!! I mean a lot of other singers that can sing too, but her voice is just much different and different better from others. It's just smooth, no voice cracks, and she can hit high notes easily without struggling with it. Wish someone can sing with a smooth intonation like this. 🔥
@@BT-ch9gf yep i do agree but what i meant is that her voice doesn't need to be HEEEAVILY altered that it's really noticeable and even if you hear her live, her voice isn't really that far from the studio versions of her songs. Lol.
@@ms.honeymilku4818 Just like with Hayley Williams from Paramore. There's a video here on RU-vid where she sings Loretta Lynn's You Ain't Woman Enough with no mike at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.
I can't wait till 2025 have you seen the latest venue performing program all you have to do is walk in and plug your phone in and put up onstage and come pick it back up again at 2 a.m. I can't figure out a better way to have a live show than that. I guess you just record your songs in your phone and then you just leave it up by the state for people list to plugging into the PA system it's all good man. If the sustainable way. Alright I'll quit picking on Avi. But only for a little while somebody has to keep her amused this isn't a one-way Street you know
I agree she has good control, a pleasant voice that fits her music style and can sing without pitch correction. This is becoming more rare and I am glad she can do it. I always liked the singers that could sound good live and unprocessed. Shaun Colvin and Suzanne Vega were two artists from the previous generation before Avril that I loved to listen to and they both had that same skill.
@@welpiguess I mean . . . Yeah Amy is also very high up there for me actually. But I was saying one of my favorites. Like Florence Welch ( Florence + the Machine ) , Duffy, LP, Paloma Faith, Beth Ditto, Kimbra. Amy is definitely one of those. Clare Maguire as well.
Avril's not the anti-Britney. Everyone enjoys imitating, singing or listening to Britney from time to time Also I love how Avril can switch through genres well and she always sounds great
@@DogshitCoun3Westards I actually saw on a Britney video there was a bunch of people saying that Avril was one of the "anti-Britney" artists that came out, honestly made me annoyed. I watched an interview a couple weeks ago where Avril was talking about how she was just tired of singing religious/country stuff and she was discovered during that point in time. While I grew up listening to both of them, Avril has always hands-down been the artist I felt I could relate to the most and is still my favorite artist to this day.
Wasn't planning to watch the whole thing (because its 3am and I should sleep) but of course Avril's gorgeous voice & energy roped me in to watching the whole thing.
I saw this & was like "oh god, I need some of this in my life." I have loved her since I was a little girl. Such a big musical influence. I'm so happy that she is making music again & I'm so happy she got through her health issues.
I'll never forget when she sang on the train so she can give charity to an ophran home..That's our queen! She never needed playback or autotune as well as Billie Eilish, these needed them!
Shes literally my childhood and I'll always listen her music. Shes so talented and beautiful. I love her. Some of her song are some of my fav sogna ever.💫
I think its great to sing live. Singing live takes brass balls, because its exposure into actual vocal talent. Avril Lavigne sounds great with and without a microphone. Spirituality is singing with no microphone after learning how to be vocally sound with the microphone.
I have ALWAYS loved that old clip of her on the NYC subway singing 'Mobile' with Evan, Matt & the rest of the band! ❤👏👍 And that part where she tells them to "SWITCH!" before singing the bridge ALWAYS puts a huge smile on my face! 😃😁 But then that last clip there of her playing the piano and singing 'It Was In Me' with that BEAUTIFUL voice of hers just made me 😌 ..... 😭 I can see why so many fans are pissed that she uses autotune in her songs ..... SHE DOESN'T NEED IT!!! 😤
I LOVE AVRIL LAVIGNE... 😢😢😢 I AM HAPPY YOU HAVE RETURNED WITH PUNK POP YOU ARE THE BEST I AM NOT A SIMPLE FAN ; I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO BE WITH YOU 😢😢😢😢
