Avs vs Jets Game 1 Recap 

You absolutely nailed it. That was a very frustrating game to watch.

Goaltending was the single reason we lost this game.

Georgiev needs a sports psychologist or something because he just doesn't have confidence anymore.

Manson could had a way better game because of the second goal and the jets third goal but I know that he will fix that but on the third goal I think he was trying to help out georgiev who could ruin the series

Avs fans are butthurt about their goalies' performance (or lack thereof), but letting in that many goals against the Jets is on par with their season against them. It was Hellebuyck who let in more than usual/had a rough night. During the regular season, the Jets scored 17 goals in 3 games against the Avs (5.6 goals/game average) while the Avs scored 4 goals in 3 games (1.3 goals/game average). Based on those stats alone, it's clear to me that the Jets should be more upset about goaltending issues than the Avs as their goalie (Gorgiev) performed as expected. Hellebuyck is no stranger to seeing 40+ shots per night and rarely lets in more than 3 of them. Should be a great series from here on out.

Georgiev is the reason, were losing games. Also sloppy passes that make turnovers which = other team scoring, because our goalie is in a slump.
