One thing most people don't know....that ac unit is putting off drinkable water...if you save it you could filter it and use it for cooking, showers or whatever.
He just solved a problem I've had with going the route of building a trailer conversion because I can't leave the Harley behind.. the bed is definitely simple yet it works flawless.. I also never imagined a bathroom that big and it fits right in
Great trailer. Perfect for your needs. The young lady has no need to be shy as she has contributed some great things to the trailer and many can learn from her and the husband. The bed is great!
They did a great job on that conversion , so glad your channel shows other people's ideas because you never know who your helping out with some of Thier dreams of doing the same to Thier cargo trailer , Thank You For All You Do !!!
This guy and his wife are amazing! What a fantastic job! I’m sure he could’ve done the cabinets if he wanted to judging how beautifully done everything else turned out. Love that ceiling and the bathroom.
This was awesome....I lived in South Bend Indiana close to Elkhart for 17 years..miss it! That bed is the way to go! What a beautiful conversion.♥️♥️♥️♥️ Thank you for sharing with us.
one of the best cargo setups I have seen, good job Brad, and Karen has quite a artistic flair. Very cool layout and look. I love these type of vids, gives me so many ideas or different views on things for my short bus build, which will also haul 2 small motorcycles on it.
Wowza! What a really nice build... I could probably get my wife to travel with me in something like that. Thanks for sharing Brad & Karen's trailer. I'm definitely going to "borrow" a couple of his ideas.
Awesome, I am now starting on my horse trailer build, 16 by 6 because we want something to boondock off road and we own it now minus the horse. Also, our 29 foot Keystone is too long for what we want to do and where we want to go now that we retired, hahahhaha. I got a lot of ideas from this, especially with the black and gray tank because my horse trailer sits low to the ground. Thank you!
Awesome and informative video brother ! I’ve been racking my brain for months on a good bed idea as I too haul the Harley and need the room. Excellent idea he’s got using the garage door springs. Very neat build out
Thanks so much , I've been obsessed with the cargo conversion I know with truck and trailer they are a pretty big expense I hope one day I can have one like this one to carry my sxs this almost perfect idea please keep them coming
Yellow thank you very much for taking the time time to do all the great things you've done it gives me great ideas and great inspiration blessings to you and yours safe travels
I enjoy tote tours so much, every one I’ve “met” on your channel is so cleaver and talented. Karen’s paint work is a true masterpiece, and Brads use of the V in the front, the mechanical room and storage is a must have when I build my trailer. I appreciate the use of a window unit and the exhaust fan. I realize the mini split is the best option, but by golly, a window unit is relatively affordable in comparison and can get you on the road, then upgraded later. I sure hope to meet you all on my journeys down the road. 😎
I really enjoyed your video this build was borderline excellent close to perfect I couldn't think of anything wrong with it but I don't want your head to swell up my goodness I truly enjoyed it thank you so much for letting him do this with your trailer I got some great ideas I really love that garage up front can't wait for myself to get started
I have been thinking a lot on the base camp idea. The trailer I've designed for myself has much of the same features in the forward part. I'm still a bit stuck on the beds, however. I want room for 3-4 guys in separate fold up bunks. Looking at this trailer gives me some space reference. I have the same refrigerator in my current 5th wheel. P.S. I like the generator location.
You actually helped me figure out very difficult questions I was struggling with!! I wanted the lift for the bed as well and was thinking of doing 4 hydraulic shocks but found that it was very hard to push down.. this was an amazing idea no joke!! And lifting the floor for the water tanks . (I don't know why I never thought of that.. looking at your system this seems so logical now but I never came to that conclusion.. I also wanted the window airconditioner for easy in an out and replacement!!! You really did help with alot .. although on my build I wanted a full wrap around dining set under the bed that would also convert into another full size bed... And I wanted a space like your utility closet but I wanted it in the back creating a garage with just enough room to sit a bike sideways inside .. but I like how open u made this floor plan as well. You guys really did amazing... (My only peeve with your build is the kitchen is to small and doesn't have that "sway" about it) that's literally it..
What an awesome conversion of your cargo trailer! You’ve certainly provided many amazing ideas here as I’m very interested in purchasing and doing something similar so we too can trailer our Goldwing DCT Tour & Yamaha WaveRunners! Well done Brad, two thumbs up👍🏽👍🏽
Smart build! I had a idea for your bed lift system. Instead of the 4 pins, keep going with the garage door theme and use garage door spring latches. You would need two sets, one per side obviously. The t-handle in the middle pulling the cables which in turn pulls open the latches on both ends/corners.
I have missed your trailer tours Bill. You always do such a great job with these. We are thinking about the same bed idea. I totally agree with Brad about starting to think about alternatives when you see the price on some of the commercial bed offerings that go up and down. I think you and Deb started something here. Another grey trailer. Lol. Thanks again for all you and Deb do for the tiny house community. Great job as always.
Looks really good, congrats! I hope you enjoy it for years to come. I'm about to start my project here soon. The only thing I might have done different would be the holding tanks. I might have put one on the bottom inside your cabinets, then another inside of a wall. I just know my dumb A$$ would stub my toe one good time that be my thing haha!
Me and my wife wants to do a cargo trailer like this but I wanted to go all electric and didn’t know if I could but now I know I can. Thanks for the video and y’all keep on living it up.
Hey, I really like their design. I've thinking about putting my bathroom in the nose...have barn doors on the back and inset a wall...so I can do a split there..and have my Storage room so to speak on the back . But..dang. i like this design. Might have to rethink it.
Enjoyed the video, surprised to see a Royer trailer from Clinton indiana, we have been working on our harley hauler/ camper titan as well. Very impressive build Brad.
I love what they did to this "disguised" cargo trailer. Only change I'd make is turning the fridge. It would look better under the upper cabinet, create more floor space, and easier to get to. Was that the carbon monoxide alarm above the entrance door? If so, it should be at ground level. I love the garage door/bed mechanical look. I wouldn't change a thing there. Over all, this is an awesome build. I'd be proud to own this.
Very nice. I’ve been trying to figure out how to add a bathroom without taking up much space. Looks like the v nose with the door on the front is the way to go!
