Bought my Gibraltar throne in 90. My friend took mine thinking it was his brand new throne. Look the same but mine easily weighs twice as much. Never used the back support. It will last forever!
One more reference clamp clip. This one showing more like the off-rack multiclamps , the other one showing more like the rack clamps. Is there a clip showing possibilties and limitations of the height adjustment racks and loose options for it?
BRENT Gibraltar has truly thought of everything as far as gear and hardware. tht being said, how about equipping all the hardware excessories with rubber bushings to prevent metal on metal contact. I have found that without something like this, 1 will end up with surface scratches up and down the shaft of cymbal stands, rack tubes, and the like from previous adjustments. I'm really hoping you will pass this information and humble request to your peers. thanks. your friend, R
Anyone have feedback on the scpugc? i have an older pearl bass drum mounted tom holder two 3/4 vertical tubes come up, then the right angle adjustable tubes go into the toms, 12 and 13 diameter, theyre too close, i was wondering if i get two of these, to clamp on the existing upright tubes, then remount another set of tubes in these to be able to get them further from me and add adjustability. wondering if they're strong enough?
Gibraltar is a security when we talk about hardware, but a question: why don't you make polished chrome clamps? (For example SC-BGC, SC4425G, SC-PUGC, etc.) Only those for the rack are polished chrome, the others not .. they would be much better to see..
Brent, what's the size range on the RBA? I'm currently using the Pearl equivalents (PCL-100) but they don't go down as much as I'd like. I've a couple of 5/8" cymbal booms I use but the Pearl PCL's won't grip tight enough. I like the RMAA, but there isn't a 5/8" adapter for those I see...
Hi, I got an issue. I bought Gibraltar GCS-450C 4 post curved rack. Also I bought Mapex Armory Series Drums Shell Pack. They provided tom holder to fit into the rack clamps. But the thing is, my rack clamps dont support those tom holder. So I decided to buy Gibraltar tom arm. Can you please suggest what rod size of tom arm will be the best fit for my rack's clamp? Thanks

Hi Brent! I Am Hoping You Can Do A Demonstration On How To Mount Roto Toms On To A Gibraltar Drum Rack. I Wish I Could Send A Picture or Two Of How I Did It, But I'm Wondering If There Is An Easier Way. Presently, I'm Using 5 SC-EA300 "Ball" Clamps To Do This As I Have 5 Roto Toms I'm Using. I Also Have 4 Mounted Toms I Use As Well In The Same Set Up. I Need Something That Will Lift The Roto Toms OVER The Mounted Toms, Yet, Still Be Within My Reach To Play Them. Can You Help Me?
