From April 2nd, 2024. Can’t believe this happened to me today right after a hard days work. Even while I was at work, I still found out from others on Facebook who knew about it. Big thanks still goes out to my buddy Scott Nauert for knowing pretty much where this special bnsf train was and I’m glad I took his advice to go see it despite I was rather worn out after work and feeling tired and a tad sweaty with no change of clothes or shoes and minus my Yaesu FT-65 scanner radio too. Anyways, right after getting off work I drove right to Lindbergh Blvd on the bnsf Cuba subdivision by Macco and Patriot Sunrooms to see it. They sent this bnsf special train into lindenwood yard on main track 2 right behind an eastbound bnsf cottonseed train. I knew I had to get video of it so here it is from today (Tuesday) at 2:52 pm. My other good friend Kelly Dunlap also was able to get down here to Lindbergh to see it with me. It’s an eastbound bnsf office car special symboled the OTPWQM. It’s being led by a single bnsf pumpkin Gevo #3255. It had a grand total of 15 bnsf passenger cars all together. Most of them were sleeping cars, and business cars but there was one power generator car mixed in plus a lounge car and a dining car too. On the very end of the train was one of my favorite cars a rear picture window theater style track inspection car. Bummer they didn’t have the rear picture window shade up off the very back end of it. I was able to get ahead of this train on I-44 east and see it again coming into the west end of lindenwood yard near SE junction at a place called Shrewsbury and I got it on video one final time which I will upload on here too with all the details of all the bnsf passenger cars in the train.
