Amazing demo of the thrust vectoring ability of F-22. The best I have seen for an F-22 so far
@1997Mclovin
@1997Mclovin Год назад
Jesus Christ I swear everyone comments the same thing about thrust vectoring without actually having any air craft knowledge. I don’t pretend I do, but I see the same shitty comment on every video of an f22.

@pixelnazgul

Stop saying vectoring. It's in the flap that's in front of the wing. Otherwise it would stall. Rockets are the ones who need vectoring, because they can't stall.
@pixelnazgul
@pixelnazgul 3 месяца назад
Achieving maenuvering with vectoring using the same force as a tail is never the same. Which is why such a thing was never made.
@pixelnazgul
@pixelnazgul 3 месяца назад
The raptor tail moves more degrees than any other plane, it's in the tail angle and regime of movement (each second in turn), and style of piloting. Which influences the wing and fuselage shape.

Really, really unbelievable footage. I didn’t think I could possibly be more impressed with this airplane, but you really see the complete control this bird has in truly absurd flight situations. And this is 30 year old technology. If we had the will and the funding, I can’t even fathom the sort of aircraft we’d be seeing in ten years. I’m afraid, for all it’s incredible maneuverability and technology, the Russians probably had the better approach focusing on extremely fast, cheap fighters with insanely advanced infrared tracking. Oh well ...
