AWESOME FAN MADE JURASSIC GAME! - T.Rex Breakout Game 

It's ironic that Rex was coined as having bad eyesight in the movies but recent studies suggest it actually had some of the best eye sight of any dinosaur, even better than our eyesight.

While JW Evolution looks like a nice game coming out. What we really need is a real first person survival game of Jurassic Park.

This Demo really needs to become a an actual game. Imagine being able to roam the entire Island like that using everything you can to evade carnivores and just trying to survive.

In Jurrasic park, Hiding in the bamboo toilet means "Exit". Pretty accurate simulator..

This should totally be a VR experience

I think what makes this so much better is that the T-rex just looks so big. In games like Ark yeah there are big dino's but they don't really feel threatening. This one scene alone if made into a full game could be incredibly haunting

Fun fact! In the first movie of Jurassic Park, the robot of the Tyrannosaurus rex wasn’t supposed to break the glass of the car, so the screams of Timmy and Lexi in that part were real screams. Thank you for reading my comment! Bye-bye!

This Demo deserves an Oscar

This would be incredibly hilarious if made into a multiplayer and you could throw flares at other players to make rexy go after them.

If i remember right Rexy in the Novel has her visual cortex based on amphibian DNA. Her vision is based on movement because the genetic holes that were filled by frog DNA. Grant was actually perplexed that the rex couldnt see him when he held still.

This was actually a lot better than I expected. I'm a huge Jurassic Park fan, and this was such an iconic scene. The lighting looks great just like the actual movie.

The kids screaming when the T. rex smashed the screen were legit screams. The animatronic was never supposed to destroy the glass.

A fan made game has graphics like this? Good god is this man good at his job! Loved every second all though in the final product there should be action and thrills.

Fun fact: if you own a pet leopard gecko, they hunt by sight just like the dinos in Jurassic Park, and its the cutest and scariest thing ever.

This game looks great! The T-Rex looks amazing. May need a little improvement on the animation though. The rain on the windows in the car look amazing, the interior may need a bit more detail. But the rest looks amazing

I sure hope this developer keeps at it! Impressive fan made demo! Would be great as a stealth type game much like Alien Isolation. Hiding from T. rex, creating distractions to get around raptor packs, getting a raging Triceratops to trap itself with its horns, etc.

I love how whoever made this integrated the vision based on movement theory the film had. This is a genius demo. Can’t wait to see whatever this guy creates in its final form.

Can you even imagine how much money Capcom would make if they made an official JP horror game, Resident Evil 7 style with VR mode.

How has this not been made into a full fledged video game yet? A survival style weapon less game set on an island of dinosaurs? Jesus sign me up.

Pretty sure the movement vision thing got debunked a while back, turns out T-rex had hawk eyes AND vulture sniffer... as well as good hearing, especially for low frequencies. - probably made hunting the Hadrosaurids easier. As if being a bone crushing mega jaw titan wasn't enough, had superhero level senses too... ain't fair man. ain't fair.

This would be so much fun if they made this for virtual reality gaming! To actually feel like you're experiencing the rex escape from the movie would be the most terrifying and incredible experience I could think of since JP and that scene are my favorite of any movie!

Trex actually had very good binocular vision. It’s eyesight was 13x better than a human’s.

This is gorgeous! I love how 'real' it looks! And you can get as close as you like just by being in its path and not moving! And that Rexy... So beautiful...

T.rex in reality had amazing vision like an Eagles and was believed to have a quill like feathers on its back. But Jurassic Park is great and I do like the design of the JP Reyes. This looks like an cool game especially for a demo fan game.😀

I am in awe of the detail put into this. My heart stopped when the video did. "We want more!" I bet everyone must be saying. Thank you Beaver, for making this amazing game seem even more magical with your humor, and creativity.

I always love that roar of the T-Rex.

Now, I for one don't think this developer is going to make a "whole game" with releases like this. I mean, in all honesty, every release they've made, including this one, SEEMS to be a tech demo of sorts. To me, given their past works, they might make a game that's like a "vignette pack". Certain scenes from all the movies (and maybe some original scenarios featuring the dinos/locations) all compiled together in a minigame sort of way, that places YOU in the role of survival. I mean, we already have the raptors in the kitchen, and the t-rex breakout. I can see all KINDS of iconic, terrifying scenes from ALL the films being represented and given fun and unique mechanics. Nedry and the Dilophosaur, the Don't go into the Long Grass scene, the Spinosaur's attack on the plane, the Indominus Rex's escape scene. The possibilities are ENDLESS. With this dev making the Rex in this demo FROM SCRATCH in less than a month, editing in the iconic sound effects incredibly skillfully, and NAILING the atmosphere dead on, they've proven they are amazingly capable, and inspired by the films. I wish this creator the BEST of luck, and hope to see more (and hopefully polished) little demos like this! Now, I could be wrong about the whole "vignette pack" thing, but I think it's a cool idea regardless!

Dude? Why hasn't this gotten the attention of the producers of Jurassic park games ? This is incredible! The graphics are top notch. This is one of those games I can watch someone play because it would be better than a movie.

As if they weren't terrifying enough the T-Rex actually had incredibly good eyesight . It would see you from like a mile away.

This demo is breathtaking. They did an extremely good job on this one.. the movement, the rex sounds, the entire scene is perfectly made!

Beaver, TRex had one of the most accurate eyesight of the animal kingdom, about almost double a hawk's.....

Just imagine, alien isolation but in a dense jungle with decaying old theme park buildings as cover and resource locations with a 30ft tall T-rex looking for you. Popping his head out of bushes at any moment, the slow increasing rhythm of his stomping feet getting closer but out of sight. The pouring heavy rain obstructing your vision and messing with your hearing. Could that be the sound of it in the bushes? No, its just the rain. It has to be! Its so big you can't outrun it, you just have to play it smart and know your quick escape routs. You have a flashlight to light your way, but us it at your own risk. The shapes and shadows of tropical trees blowing in the stormy breeze look an awful lot like the head of a rex. No weapons, maybe a flairgun at most. If the atmosphere is correct, just like this video, and the ai and gameplay are gripping and unpredictable like A:Isolation than you have yourself a winner we are looking for.

Maybe overtime they can make more scenes from Jurassic park, then mash them all together to create an amazing hands on Jurassic park experience where your in the story and in the shoes of your own character

By the way, the T. rex. Had eyesight better than our own. Small side note.

This looked like a lot of fun! I was both startled and laughing heaps of times. An open world Jurassic Park/World game seems like it would be lots of fun.

You are right about how it hunted but it had great eye sight. They had 3D vision and can see up to 6 kilometers (3.7 Miles).

No t rex actually had binocular vision which is the same as eagles this was found out by some very well preserved t rex fossils

In the real movie, when the T. Rex breaks through the glass in the car, the robotic was unpredictable as the water of the rain was getting in it, so when the T. Rex broke through the glass, the kids screams were REAL. Yup, they were really pushing the glass up to not get injured. And I’m not trying to get pinned, but I never do.
