Hugh Hefner purchased the Playboy mansion way back in 1970. He only paid $2 million for it. At the time of his death the house has been appraised at over $195 million. A billionaire bought the house and he’s renovating it that he bought the house when Hefner was still alive and the deal was Hugh Hefner could live there for the rest of his life so I guess the man restored the mansion to the way it used to look, which is really nice. And yes, Weezer is always making good music and their videos are very funny and very entertaining.

Not sure why, but I can't think of Weezer without thinking of Presidents of the USA. They have a similar style of nerd rock that is intertwined in my mind. The 3 Presidents of the USA songs that live in the back of my mind are Peaches, Lump, and Kitty. I think you guys may enjoy them, totally 90's alternative worth checking out! Love y'all!

PS. If you love Weezer, and good people love Weezer, you might really enjoy 'OK GO' who basically make some of the coolest videos ever made. "Jimmy Eat World' is another great band that has that Weezer vibe also.

Hash Pipe! Gotta listen to Hash Pipe! First time I heard that I work in EMS ...and my partner and I were up front..he was driving and Hash Pipe came on and I was like "Who is this?". He smiled and said "Weezer!!". I said "Well turn it up!!"hahaha. We were riding around in our ambulance jamming! 😂

Just saw The Femmes last Sunday. Its the 40th anniversary of the debut album. First song they played was Blister In The Sun and everybody went nuts. Great show by a great band. The pride of Wisconsin !

Weezer is one of those bands that have stood the test of time. They've been at it since the 90s and they are still going strong! They just have the "It" factor! "Say it Ain't So" has to be your next one. It's an anthem of the late 90s!

Not too long ago, there was a great back-and-forth between Weezer and the band Toto. Weezer had a hit with their remake of the song "Africa." Toto thanked them by doing a video cover of the song "Hash Pipe"

Listening to this as an almost 40 yr old hits different. This stuff was at the top of the charts in its time. Teens & people 25 and under would probably see a band named Weezer as “uncool” but they were everything.

The 'warped' effect was Rivers Cuomo using the 'wah-wah pedal'. The pedal is kind of spring loaded and when mashed by the guitar player creates a sort of "wah" sound.

The female voice in there is a sample of Paris Hilton calling her lap dog "Timmy". It was sampled from her old TV show. Some lyric videos mistakenly caption the voice as saying "Gimme".

I got to work for Playboy back in the 1990's helping with their website in the early 90's. I also did some photography work for them (not the women! hahahaha) but I got invited to a few parties. I am like Weezer said "I don't stand a chance, it is something you are born into". I had an incredible time but there comes a time when security sweeps through the mansion grounds and all of us that did not stand a chance was escorted out and those left is when the really crazy stuff happens is all I can guess as I saw some of it already starting as the majority of us were sent home.. BUT it was not till 3 am or so for a party that started about 6pm. Amazing experience. And on another note we were comped rooms in some of the nicest hotels in Beverly Hills and had limo buses shuttle us back and forth. Incredible era.. and one more note, Hugh Hefner can meet you once and remember your name.

I've seen them twice in concert over the last 4 years. Once was at a local music festival, and the second was at Hershey Park. They were touring for the Hella Mega Tour with Green Day. My youngest likes both bands as well (she is 21 now). The concert in Hershey was her 18th birthday present. They are such fun in concert. Yes, those of us around 50 still go to concerts🤣. This is for you Jay! I'm 63 now but when I was 19 years old I worked in a fancy office in San Diego. It was secretary day and one boss asked where would you like to go for lunch. "THE PLAYBOY CLUB". I was curious to see inside. The bunnies were all in their little suits and didn't bend over in ur face, the nicely squatted. The men were in tight pants, bow tie and no shirt. Everything looked so fancy. My drink was huge! I had a Monte Cristo sandwich, it's ham sandwich that u batter and deep fry with powdered sugar on top. Sooo good, an I got drunk with that huge drink. It was a once in a lifetime experience and it was very tasteful

One of my dance partners was a model who used to get invited to Hefner's mansion for movie screenings back in the '80s. There were always celebrities there, but she said she and her gal pal would go for the movie and the free food and then sneak off to swim in the pool. :o)

This was a cool video to be part of...most of the people in the video are just Weezer fans aside from the Band, Hef & Playmates of course. This was shot at the Playboy Mansion which isn't in Beverly Hills :D. I remember we had to park our cars a few blocks away and then take a shuttle to the Mansion. Cool times

The Playboy Mansion is not in Beverly Hills but in one of the many upscale neighborhoods on the Westside (BH is on the Westside). But BH is the image most people have of what is rich ... if you do not live in the area. Part of it is "rich" but most is not or just the business district.

I’ve been to Graceland since it’s been turned into a tourist attraction but I don’t think the Playboy Mansion is accessible to anyone other than stars. Now since Hugh passed away I’m not sure anyone can go there but I’m waiting and hoping one day they turn it into an attraction also. I’d love to visit that place and see the grotto.

Check out Pork and Beans if you like the hey, I'm just me and cool with it, feeling. My understanding was that their agent came to River and said, hey, you're getting older, you need to update your image, get in shape, change your style. They write that song on response. Oh, and people of your age will probably be familiar with all the fun parts in the video.

Thanks for bringing these guys back! Hard to go wrong with the Weez. Although I'm more a fan of their classic stuff (The "Blue" and "Pinkerton" albums) I also like their later hits too like this one. Next, you gotta go with "Hash Pipe" and then I'd say "Pink Triangle" after that.
