Since I first discovered Sharay Reed some 5 years ago, a whole new world of music and bass players were revealed to me - the combination of gospel tradition, incredible skill and joy in the Lord has been a source of inspiration and awe for me since then... including Mr. Evans, whom I've just heard of today. I gotta say, I love this guy and all the other Bass Players, Drummers and musicians that would show up to Shed at Monument of Faith in Pontiac, MI. I couldn't play as good as they did and still can't, but they never made me feel like I wasn't welcome to sit in their circle and would always take time to explain something I had a question about, even though I was old enough to be their dad. I still play to this day and love it. Thanks Snoop and all of you, especially the Otis Brothers.

Those sheds were valuable in bringing together the musician community, yet we were working on being professional musicians. I couldn't wait to load in because I could hear the music from the parking lot. @David Fagan Thanks for reminding us of those memories.
