Mrs. Lucia your jewelry is so beautiful and in good condition . I feel like sending you money just to buy 2 jars for me I would be so happy. But great work. Keep on posting them cause you really make my day.
Daughter of a jeweler here, Im going to rewatch this video. You have some pieces that were from 70's and 80's, jewelry was marked different then. First time seeing your channel, I LOVE IT
I got some earrings with 5 11 that is all I can make out from the fading. They are silver in color and the end has some kind of inbuilt stone that is small. Do you know what that is? I also have a Trifari Gold Earring with Pearl, Monet earrings and bracelet, Kramer Clover leaf Gold Clip on earrings, and Richeleu Pearl necklace with some Gold Pendant with a gold pendant. I have other things that don't have any names stamped on them. Do any of those have value? I bought them because I thought they are pretty.
@@fabulouslifeinchrist1349 You can go ahead and have an idea of the value of your items on Ebay. See how other sellers price theirs. All the names you mentioned are Vintage Jewelry such as Crown Trifari. Monet etc. I am a collector myself.
@@jrose9378 A jewelry store would just glance at the lot and call it junk - which it is. There is not enough silver or gold in the lot to make it worth sorting out.
Love your jewelry jars and your descriptions. You have a fun time looking at them and love your soft voice. Keep going you are my favorite jewelry person, I always look for your new videos.
The pin with the kettle knife, etc I believe is from Argentina. It symbolizes the Processions that the Gauchos carried with them as the went from place to place! Pava = kettle, mate = cup, bombilla = silver straw to sip the mate tea thru, not a spoon, and the facón , the knife they use to cut and eat their asado, bar b q meat!
I'm not sure why this video was recommended to me, however, it was fascinating. I have a sister who frequently shops at Goodwill. She enjoys buying plastic bags filled with jewelry. I can't tell you how many times she has come across 10 kt and 14 kt gold items and authentic stones. She once felt so guilty because there were so many genuine items in a particular bag that she took it back to the store thinking that someone had donated these items by accident. At any rate, Goodwill didn't seem to care and told her to keep it. I may start doing this myself. What fun!
I'll have to start keeping my eyes open on the goodwill , I've never noticed many jars or bags of mixed pieces. However, my son did one year for Christmas buy me an assorted gift bag online of jewelry for $20, and out of that haul, we had a very nice authentic jade Asian style bracelet, valued anywhere between $80 - 300, several high end designer costume pieces, and nice turquoise pieces. I've also received several lot bags like that myself on ebay and always got more than my monies worth! It's great fun!
That's what all the fun is about, it's a treasure hunt! Sometimes you get lucky and others not. How lovely of your sister to go back to the store. Her honesty was rewarded with the goodies she found.
Wish my goodwill or thrift shops sold bulk jewelry in jars! I was so blessed and lucky to inherit a lot of my Gram Mary’s costume jewelry! She had some great taste back in the day!
I wish you could do more of a closeup to see the exact detail of embossing and markings. Really pretty jewelry you have in all your videos. Your hands are pretty and your voice is soothing. 😄😊👍🏼😚
I enjoy listening to you, very soothing. Plus I love jewelry. I am 72 and have been collecting for a very long time. Most of it is all real. My granddaughters will have a lovely collection☺ I always looked for deals and 2nd hand stores. Things were less expensive back then. Thanks for sharing🌹🌹
The 5 stone gold ring looks like a mother's ring. I Love it... My Mother gave me hers when I was young an I laid it in my lap to lotion my hands an I lost it.... I'm still so sad..... I Love Your haul in this jar. Well done .... enjoy !!!
The turtle pin, I think, in the beginning I think was a Labradorite cab, not Ab shell. It's my favorite semi precious stone so I noticed right away. Great finds! I'd have to sage every piece😂
Hi, Lucia! love your accent. This was my first time looking at your jar of goodies. This video was so much fun to watch because I am a jewelry lover and gem " geek ". Love stones of all kinds. Your description of each one was fun and cute to listen to you. I got just as excited watching you're discovery of the unique and interesting items. I'm going to watch your next video of the gold things. Thanks for the video. Denise. Apple Valley, CA.
WOW! That was a great find! Here in Atlanta at our Good Wills I don't see jars of jewelry like that at all! It was like Christmas all over again! I am a new subscriber, so hopefully you will do more of these! Thank you! Happy New Year!
First time watching and I enjoyed this video. It was interesting as you went through the items one by one. You found mostly all beautiful pieces. Thank you for having a gentle voice that is not annoying after a while.
Absolutely no good jewelry at our Goodwill, a woman in her late 70's or early 80's sorts through it then a man comes and picks it up. I saw this happen more than once so finally I asked what the heck was going on. I was told he picks it up then it gets sold at the Goodwill auction. So your quite fortunate if your finding any silver or gold in those jars. Congrats!
Sometimes I take the small pendants and make a bracelet out of them. I like to remake jewelry that is falling apart or worn chains and the like and make something beautiful...
Looks like so much fun ! I used to hunt for treasures not so long ago and it was the most fun I've ever had . Makes my want to do it again . I stopped once I became sick with Pulmonary hypertension. I found treasure for very little money and would sell them on ebay . I made excellent money doing that.
I always check out our local thrift stores too! Too bad ours here don't have these jars! Such a cool idea, for them and us! When we were stationed in Tx, my husband bought me lots of nice southwestern and native American pieces . Most are signed with the makers mark or initials. They always appealed to my Cherokee heritage. Love the turquoise most of all! Have many still in my possession , but many others which included turquoise, corals and mother of pearls conveniently just 'disappeared' during one of our many base transfers. Love all those kinds of pieces you have revealed here today . You got a nice haul there for $20!!! Thanks for sharing! Very interesting indeed! Won my sub today!
I wish i saw this video when i was in London. I went to a thrift store saw some really nice jewelry but i thought nothing of it really. London has really nice thrift stores cant wait to go back
It was delightful watching you with your treasure find. I have no idea how to test for silver or gold, but I know one thing, another ones trash is often ones treasure. My Cousin makes christmas trees out of found jewelery mounted onto green gold or red velvet and framed. I have also seen velvet hearts festooned with gems. they are nice house warming gifts. Those who know how to clean these pieces can often restore them to almost new. I also have a friend who creates dolls with rich fabric and jewels. They look great on large pottery cats as well. Thanks for sharing with us, YOu have a great voice, and a positive outlook. That last piece with the barlike curved thing with huge flowers, may be an arm adornment.
Hello! Great jar, how fun! Would love it if you went a little slower and used the magnet on the metal's to check too. The ring looked interesting along with several other pieces. Thanks for sharing!
Well. Now that everyone is advertising this great jewelry deals ..what ever store had these fantastic hood fun buys.. Everyone saying..oh I better go .. So if there is truly a real good deall.will be short lived
HOW WOULD I KNOW FOR " SURE ! " IF ALL THESE JEWELRY ARE ALL PURCHASED FROM " GOODWILL STORE ? REMEMBER THIS IS HER CHANNEL . SHE COULD BE " FOOLING US , " THE VIEWERS !
Cynthia Rothschild777 ummm, there not that great of find’s! I get these jar’s all of the time, filled with sterling, gold and platinum. Besides that, what would she get out by fooling us? She’s not an owner of the good will!! And we would still watch her video’s wether she found gold or not! I guess the only way for you to really be a believer is to pick up a few jar’s of your own!! They come in bag’s or vases. Good luck!
It's a hippopotamus, nice finds love the Amber ring, the 925 bracelets💕💕 the necklace with the baguettes is just beautiful! You struck gold!! Have a great day 💕 please enter me in your give away 💕💕
Really? They sell those all the time on TV, in Kohl's, Walmart, Kmart, JC Penney. Maybe not as many as they used to sell but they're still around, at least where I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Irishwench333 • I've seen her get mother's rings in some of her other jars. I don't know why, but it always makes me feel a little sad when I see a mother's ring in something like this.
@@773Tonya Right?? I would want my mom's rings after she passed. It feels like no one cared enough but of course, we never know what happened, but that's how it feels.
It's a hippo head. The big statement flower necklace, I think you put the bar piece across the base of your neck, and one of the chains around the back of the neck,, then the other two must layer downwards in front.
