Plus the grip hoists take up a ton of room in the truck bed. This will bit easily under the seat

Yep love it. Had to buy a new handle for 12 bucks after bending mine trying to pull a huge art van furniture truck out the got stuck in a deep rut. But line is doing fine and it works like a champ. Still in my truck every day and used a time or 2 each year

keep in mind that was last year when I bought it and did the video. but I just googled it and clicked shopping and picked the one with the best price and free shipping. again it was over a year ago. so price might be different now.

Well I guess your a dumb ass huh ? Starting a little past halfway in Ohio you start running into the foot hills of the Appalachian mountains and the further south you go in the state the bigger and steeper you get .. I live in West Virginia not far from the border of southern Ohio and eastern kentucky and 30 minutes from my house in ohio there's not much of a difference Mr. No it all..

Read the info for yourself. Weith Scott power puller. Says it pulls 12000 and lifts 6000. Read it for yourself on thier website.

@@tradbowpodcast still not a 12,000 lb winch. A Toyota Tundra towed the space shuttle across an overpass, that doesn't mean it has a 4.5 million lb tow rating. Look, I love my hand winch, but know it's limitations and use it responsibly. You put 12,000 lbs of load on it and it's gonna grenade on you.

@@biggs8729 it has pulled my diesel out a couple times and works great. They show videos of it flat pulling 12k on their site as well as guys pulling stuck bobcats out of the mud. do what you want or dont. for me its the best hand winch out there for vehicle recovery.

@@tradbowpodcast look I'm not disputing the fact that it's the best handwinch out there. I agree. if it makes you feel good to call it a 12,000 lb winch then I guess whatever floats your boat. I own the 3T version and I can guarantee you that it will not put out 12,000 lbs of force without increasing the mechanical advantage. Dragging a 12,000 lb object on level ground is not the same as pulling with 12,000 lb of force. A 12,000 lb object dragging across the ground puts up a resistance of approximately 6,000 lb, hence the 6,000 lb weight rating. And I watched the skid steer video too it was about a 6 or 7,000 lb machine on snow and being assisted by its own power. I'm sure he never pulled more than 2,000 pounds. The manufacturer rated the winch that you bought at two tons. it's irresponsible of you to tell everybody to go ahead and exceed the weight rating by a factor of 3. Somebody's going to get hurt if they try that.

C. A. It's a hand winch. Hook it up and pull the lever. Why would I go thru all the trouble to set it up and do all that. I'm not getting paid for this. Buy one and try it or don't.
