The Institute creating a special pistol for infiltrators which immediately gives away that it came from the Institute is perfectly on brand for the Institute.
To be fair, it seems like the rounds have some kind of either magnetic or electrical charge to them. I doubt you'd be able to achieve that without the use of shitty retro-plastics.
I always find it funny when people complain that The Institute is "illogical" or that their plans and motives "don't make any sense", as if this is somehow a bad thing. Like... that's kind of the whole point. They're a bunch of socially inept, arrogant, unethical super-nerds who have been cut off from all human contact for two centuries. What do you THINK they're going to be like? On a side note, the pistol itself gives me a lot of Destiny 2 vibes, and honestly I quite like that, it feels fitting somehow.

Fun Fact: Steel Belted Radials actually can be used as a semi cheap improvised armor and somewhat impressive at doing that. Sadly, using it as an effective body armor is a not so much because of the weight. Needs 2 - 3 layers in a truck door to be decent against most calibers. Many tests have been done by many different people, I give Mythbusters as an example. I think they used 2 layers, as well as tested phone books and a few other materials.
It'd be neat if the Legion Armor had different tiers / variants. As neat of an idea it is to have a tire chestpiece, it feels kind of bare when next to the road sign pieces.
the lorenzo and zeta dish are muzzle/dish options if you have them and "should2 spawn normaly in the missions etc, tested with cheat terminal and seemed to spawn fine.

Trust me if no one thought you, Pigness, etc's mods were crap they wouldn't download or check out this channel day after day. The fact plain and simple is people love the mods all of you do, this channel, and the support that all of you have for this game and modding as a whole. I believe the comments and downloads reflect all of that.
I was happy seeing a realy good balistic institute weapon, but infortunaly the ammo type does npt convince me... Still looking for a gauss institute weapon!
legion armor. REALLY wish we could get a full set of the tire remesh of leather armor. cause it would be a a great armor against energy and melee weapon's.
Seeing something like the Service Rifle / West Tek Optics patch makes me want to try some of the other Service Rifles but by now the Deadpool version is so deeply engrained in my playstyle I'm not sure how I would go about replacing it. I still really love the Deadpool version anyway so I don't think I'd want to get rid of it if trying one of the others meant it had to go.
Wow some very cool stuff, X-mas came early. Some of these mods I was thinking about looking for! The Gamma gun and Marine armour needed some love IMO. The others not needed so much as cool. I like the service rifle fine but nothing wrong with an update. As for the legion armour if Kellogg can make it across the country why not a legion veteran? I think we all know what was wrong with the Institute weapons. Like you I've seen a fix attempted but was not impressed. This mod author put some serious thought into it. Not only do I not mind crafting it, I prefer mods with this feature! Also a new .38 calibre option is welcome! I have the .38 calibre Deliverer mod but you can't have too many options. You have a point about the level list. Coursers and Institute agents might carry this if trying to blend in. The mod could use some more options but it's as is the best of the three attempts I know of. The Striker needs the jamming misfiring mod to go with it (because outside of video games these sorts of weapons all suck, The shotgun shell shape and repeating firearms has never worked well). Still what's a video game without a weapon that looks cool but you'd never use outside of a firing range in the real world! 🤡🤡🤡 Though this shotgun will misfire half as often at the cost of the mentioned reload speed. No solution to an engineering problem is 100% perfect.
Something interesting that I noticed about the street sweeper... hate the reload time? When you want to reload, don't hit reload. Bring up your pipboy, deselect the street sweeper, reselect it, and bring the pip boy down. End result? Your gun is now reloaded. I have no idea if that was intended, but it works. You just have to try to avoid reflexive reloading.
I bought fallout 4 years ago but really hadn't played it. This would be the first time I'm going to seriously play it and glad I discovered your channel. Btw, what mod makes the whole commonwealth overgrown?
Some very cool mods. I'm currently doing a playthrough with no weapon mods. I'd forgotten how unbelievably awful the vanilla weapons are in comparison.
Though one might be able to get away with 1 layer if it's used in conjunction with other materials to make a layered armor. I think someone did test this, I don't remember exactly where I saw this done, it could've been here on YT.
Just a nit pick on that striker animation but at the part where the gun finishes reloading, the left hand fails to sync with the motion of going back to shooting. But to be fair, this the kind of issue I deal with when I try to animate with certain rigs.
On the topic of long reloads - such as the Striker; what if there was a second reload mode where your character is planted in place while they are crouched on the floor, reloading as fast as they could? Give it a default 20-30% speed increase that could be leveled up as a perk. It'd only work for weapons with particularly strenuous reloads (balance), but it'd unlock the ability to use more wonky & unique weapons without constantly questioning why and how your character is flawless at reloading under so much stress 😂 Idk, that doesn't particularly have to be the reason this mod should exist, I just think it's a really fun idea for a Fallout mod.

I love my stealth builds, so hoping the Institute pistol gets a silencer option. A holographic sight would suit it. The Gamma gun re-model is just what I need, the vanilla ones are pure yuck. Hoping Dak's optics get patched onto more guns, replacing some of the modern tactical stuff that doesn't fit the Fallout style. I saw the marine armour paint on the Nexus and thought... meh, but seeing it in this video I'm now... yeah! Another great selection of mods.
That sprinting mod is actually soooo terrible omg, I can't help but laugh at how ridiculous it looks ! Though the red institute pistol looks super nice 👍
Hi man can you please do me a favour and ask if any of your discord followers can do two mode for me please 🙏 😅. They two mode that I would like are weapon mode and the other one is equipment for the start of the game and equipment being per-war fallout soldier light armour and a per-war laser rifle in home that the player lives in. And for the weapon mode is too tight the plasma weapon from the terminator franchise and put them in to level list please please 🙏 and thank you if you do read this and thank you if you do it thank you 🙏.

I went to download the Marine armour paint mod and like I always do, checked out the creators other mods. @DegenerateDak - check out the Gunmetal Armor Skins - Armor Paints Pack, it's a big download, but looks good.
