Awesome RUINS in Lehigh Valley Area & Attacked by Crickets 😭 

It's amazing how creative people are what with their 2 brains and all.

Those ruins up the trail from the kilns and trestles are what's left of the Thomas Iron Works Hokendaqua plant. That large building is in historical photos of Thomas Iron. I've been going there for about 22yrs, before all the dang cave crickets took over the tunnel. That tunnel will take you to the large building btw.

Those crickets wont harm you. They are sensitive to the light and jump towards it. Freaky, but harmless.

what awesome finds!!! I never knew about these. ive been to the kilns a few times but never went down the trail thanks so much for sharing this.

i was there years ago, and went in that same tunnel!! shined a light on the ceiling, saw those little fellas, and ran out of there as fast as i could
