Awesome car! I’m at the limits of my block with vortech AFR heads 331 stroker. Trying to keep it at 500whp or less so it lives for a bit 😊

It’s easy to push the production block too hard. I often have to try to hold cars like that back in the tuning to promote longevity.

@@tecmotiondynoyeah I’m about 11.3-11.1 AFR and total timing at 10 psi is 15-16 degree

Yeah, he’s got enough black inside now that it looks pretty good, and that is honest to God factory paint on it …

Haven’t had it on the track since the latest improvements. Last year was a 12.10. Will update once I get back to the track later this summer hopefully.

Good question, and I rewatched it to check for myself after your comment. Those are M/T ET Street S/S. The Siping LOOKS backwards, but if you check the Mickey Thompson web site, you can see that this is actually the correct orientation for these tires. Thanks for watching Jason!

I basically the same setup. Does he have any issues with High intake temps? I’m debating an intercooler with my set up.

I don’t have a saved datalog of the intake temps, and with a non intercooled setup like this they are typically high - 100*F or more above ambient. I usually prefer an intercooler on any street driven forced induction car myself, but you get away with this kind of thing a little easier in a drag strip setting, and the packaging of most intercooler setups on these cars can be a bit of a pain. Western Canada is also not Texas or Arizona so ambient temps are usually a little more modest in the first place.

I think that might have been a part of the supercharger kit.

@@tecmotiondyno Thanks and wheres the maf on this thing with the supercharger.? Im buying parts now from WMS and hope to get you guys to build my stang up. going with a v3 supercharger,42 lb injectors,75mm accufab throttle body,f303 cam)hopefully a gt40 intake if i can find one)

The MAF is in the inner fender. You can see the supercharger inlet piping disappear through the inner fender in the engine bay shots. The filter and MAF are on the end of that tubing.
