It might be an ex Supercar, but it wont have a Supercar engine. 650hp wont cut it in Sports Sedans, especially because that car looks like it still has the engine under the bonnet. There are plenty of Sports Sedans with SB2 Chevs which have the engine in the cockpit (or at least partially) You pretty much need something with those ponies (and weight balance) to be at the very pointy end of the field. It's a great sounding car though.

Couldn't have said it better myself haven't watched supercars since maybe 1998. Bathurst used to be cosmopolitan like Le Mans with different classes. Now I think they should liven it up by having Tibetan goat herders shepparding a full flock round the track and logs rolled out at impromptu moments it's so boring.

Yeah I've been saying that for years. The support categories are better than the V8SC championship to watch. This is even better.

Very true I used to be a serious fan of Bathurst when there was toranas gt falcons and minis and then the supercar category when it first stated ,now I dont even bother with it it is boring and highly commercialised rubbish
