With politicians vying for your favour and attention, election campaigns can lead to some awkward and embarrassing moments.
The 2024 UK General Election campaign has been no different.
The omens weren’t great for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak as he called the election outside 10 Downing Street, with a heavy downpour slowly soaking through his suit, and his speech also drowned out by the sound of a 90s Labour anthem, played at full volume by nearby protesters.
In the early days of the campaign, Mr Sunak did his level best to appear relatable, with awkward fist bumps, football practice and a debut on TikTok.
Meanwhile, Labour’s Sir Keir Starmer awkwardly faced off with a heckler at his own manifesto launch.
He also made absolutely sure we all knew his Dad was a toolmaker, before spending many interviews fending off claims that he was ‘bland and boring’.
One politician determined not to be boring was the Liberal Democrat leader, Sir Ed Davey.
Mr Davey appeared to be living his best life by bungee jumping from a crane, enjoying a slip and slide, and trying his best to stand up on a paddle board.
His party also managed to photobomb one of Rishi Sunak’s campaign events.
While Nigel Farage of Reform UK was soaked by a milkshake, and not for the first time.

Nigel Farage allowed into that building is the biggest example for why blatant bold in your face sign-posts don't work in front of buildings.

The Tories caused the problem. The Tories did nothing about the problem and the Tories stored up the problem by doing nothing but line their own pockets. Tax is at it's highest due to the Tories too. How much did they print?. How much debt have they added to the country?. And what do we have to show for 14 years of TORIES?. Death and destruction of this country under Tories. Get the picture now do you?.

We need more boats, that is why i voted Labour, not everybody can get on the few boats there are at the moment. Personally i think we should get a ferry, will save money in the long run.
