In this video I show the making of a short Axe handle for a full size Axe head, however you can still use this same process to make an Axe handle of any length and design.
Again a very good guide to do such things. Great video for "strong men" 💪😉! But I'd rather wait for another nice video of you carving or turning wood 😊.
I had like to see you doing that in the jungle , when you best axe handle let you down !! Could you teach us how to do all that in the wild , without any artificial power !! I did build a single trunk wooden canoe , NW of Brazil , with just a machete and some natural glue from the area and it allowed me to row for a 1000 miles down river without any trouble !!
Dear Bernard, you're right, it would be difficult to do this in the jungle - bearing in mind you probably only had your axe head and bare minimum tools if any - so if I did make a handle it would be a plain simple practical one and definitely not like the one I showed. I also have to say that's great that you were able to accomplish what you did with the canoe and with just a machete and then trust it for a 1000 mile journey, WOW. Regards, Arthur.
