They actually had a country song commissioned about Mac Tools, LOL! Also, it seems like Mac Tools takes the long way around the block to make a tool. They make the handles separate from the ratchet heads? Heh.. I guess. For the record I buy most of my tools from Harbor Freight but I have a good little collection of tools from Mac Tools. When I buy “the good stuff” it’s usually Mac Tools, I like what they make 😎
I love your Ratchets. Thanks for keeping them made in the USA. Only complaint I have is your locking flex ratchet. It says made in USA with global components. Why can't you make it entirely here? I paid 265.00 for this ratchet. Sorry but if I'm paying you this much for a ratchet it should be entirely made in the USA. Other than that I love your tools.🙂
It is made here banana! It's the pieces inside it! Probably a spring was made in Bangladesh or the button made in Pakistan, its all over priced! To be honest I grab my old 84t gearwrench that I've had for 8yr or so. From now on I'm not waiting on snapon or Mac to come out with stuff like this, imo it's purposely held back to justify the price when the guy has 2 or 3 on the truck. If they are making this many like in video, how is there a shortage 🤷♂️ waiting on that spring or button to show up from another country 🤔

Yall do understand that on amazon you have to read the writing. No lifetime warranty. And if they do offer any type of warranty good luck getting it done with amazon. Lets not mention with amazon your price was paid in one whole go as off the tool truck payments are made. The tool truck also shows up each week, another service amazon does not offer. Most of you completely miss the points of a tool truck.
My guess is they can turn all the handles in one machine and just add them to different ratchets. Absolutely nothing wrong with friction welding if done right.
Snap on ratchets are way better. All recently made Mac tools are junk. The handles do not stay on any of their tools and all the metal bends. If you want cheap shit just get harbor freight or craftsman.
Don't know if what your saying is true about your ratchet but I rebuild old tractors and heavy equipment and haven't had any problems with my MAC tools.
Snap-on and Mac are flat out ripping off the users in the field with their insanely overpriced tools. Best quality? Hardly as both of the above are moving more and more of the production to offshore sweat factories and not passing on the savings. "USA" markings are disappearing from these brands. I would urge you to boycott these overpriced and in many cases re-boxed tools and buy reasonable priced USA tools from SK or Wright.

Melvin Johnson yeah that isn't true about snap on. Their actual snap on hand tool business is all pretty much USA. Electrical stuff is outsourced like everything in the world that is electrical is made in either china or Taiwan.
@@hedrick5286 Umm, no. The longer Snap-On ratchets like the SHL80 and FLL80A are friction welded. No company wants to pay to have forgings to handle 15" long ratchets. Nothing wrong with friction welded anyways. 80000 lb truck axle spindles are friction welded. Have there been any failures of Matco/ MAC ratchets either? NO
If they are being made like in this video, why are they out of stock? I think all u tool companies that claim made in the USA are full of shit and get them from the outside. Don't buy these! I have a 18 inch 3/8 flex head. At first I really liked it. But it broke in less than 2 months. Dealer wouldn't even give me a repair kit. And its a really stupid design. It all depends on this stupid little pink rubber o ring gasket being in there. Other wise the screws make the cover plate so tight the ratchet won't turn. Stupid design! Buy a snap on
moparmania86 really ? I have a quarter extra long flex head and have yet to break it. Had since they came out. I also have a 3/8 flex head. There are some things I think they do better than snap on. The chrome, the chamfered edges on the heads and the quality switch are in my opinion superior to a dual 80.
