If it wasn't obvious already, the script was improvised. I only planned out the joke at the beginning and end, the sickle whacks, and Axl getting punched.

In cannon for some odd reason back in the late 19th century axl was a gang leader and went into multiple gang fights with no deaths on either side. So the zoning sounds pretty accurate.
