@@gunsnrosesdefinition7672 I don’t know what you were trying to say there cause it didn’t make sense but I really hope you aren’t trying to say that the only thing people like about GNR is his voice because that is 10000% WRONG. Slash’s guitar is one of the most amazing and easily recognizable players EVER & Duff is a killer bass player and musician same when izzy was around & they had awesome drummers in Steven Adler & Matt sorum. Your name has GNR in it so I expect you to know all these things. just really hope that’s not what you were trying to say
You think that’s something? If you go to the search “guns n roses running on stage” it’ll bring up a video called “guns n roses rippin her across stage” it’s a compilation of the band running around, axl does some hard phrases while sprinting, there’s even a foot race between slash and gilby.
he accomplished so much during his youth that we cannot and should not expect more from him now, he nevertheless continues to be a good singer I challenge you to accomplish as much from your sofa hidden behind your keyboard d 'where it's easy to pass judgements, let's tally up your personal accomplishments to see (and I want to point out that 'I don't condone Axl's behavior in the 90s either towards fans or journalists,)
AXL AND I HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY MONTH AND YEAR LOVE YOU GUYS AXL AND SLASH AND DUFF ❤❤❤AND PROSPER JUST KIDDING....... YOU ALREADY PROSPERED YOU GUYS SAID SO EVER MUCH IN YOUR LYRICS ,❤❤❤!!!
When I think of the greatest rock front men or women, Axl Rose always pops up. People will toss him in there with Mick Jagger. I'm not really big led Zeppelin fan but that's just me. I think it's not just the voice but it's also the originality that Jagger and Rose have. How about you? Who do you think could be the greatest front man in rock history?
Him and I are the same exact age we're almost from the same area I was jealous when they came out with Appetite for Destruction I wore that cassette tape out I'm a fan now we're both old and he's rich and famous and I kind of failed at music so I mean I have a good life don't get me wrong really close to God but I'm not rich and famous it wasn't for me so before you rip up the ax man you better stop and think about it he didn't get where he was being stupid
@@SJ-ni6iy 😂yeah, I wasn't really a fan of the biking shorts but he did pull it off and was so hot it didn't matter. Axel is a LEGEND! Always in my heart 🎸🌹🎙️🎵❤️
Nobody gave it their all like axl rose, ever, he was truly blessed with a rock voice that to this day,in 2023 sounds like no other ,,,baby maybe someday
@@jamesk7179I don't understand why people hate on him now. everyone's voice doesn't sound the same when they're older and plenty declining as terribly as axls has
I miss the late 80's and early 90's really bad. Yes for sure, this was their peak and he was like no other. My friends and I saw them two times during this same era. Once in 1991 with Izzy and Skid Row. The next time would be a full year later while co headlining with Metallica and with Gilby. Still after 30 years I am trying to find words how to describe to people how magical GNR, Metallica, and Skid Row were in 1991/1992. Axl's voice here for sure, in top shape.
Axl back then.... wow! There ain't another voice even close to this.... I get quite emotional seeing him back then.... he really was something special!❤
@@goldenvidsyt it's not his actual voice that's fucked up just his mixed voice his baritone notes still sound great, and probably his higher chest voice but his mixed voice is completely fucked
No, he does not. He sounds like Mickey Mouse sucking Helium. Clips like this show how powerful his voice once was, and perhaps some of what could be if he gave his voice a rest, but he wont, he is too busy grifting money with garbage performances. He currently sounds absolutely terrible.
Yeah I looked that up. Turns out, it’s not aging, or to much screaming for so long. They said your vocal cords don’t change w/age. I figured that’s it. What this “professional”music Dr/ENT, said it was him taking that 10 yrs off that did it?? Idk. But, they have been on tour pretty much since the reunited in 2016. So if that was the case……wouldn’t it come back to normal?? If he could fix it, I’m sure he would. This guy used Mick Jagger, Ozzy, Roger Daultry & few other to prove his point. No clue if it’s true or not, but I saw them probably 12-14 times mostly in late 80’s & 90’s. Then a few since the reunion. It’s a big difference, but F*** it…..Best Frontman EVER!!!! Everyone was so pissed at his constantly being late. Me include. I, for some reason got lucky. He was late only twice in all those I went to. But look at what he does for 3 hrs a night. Guy runs about 10 miles a show every night for a world tour in the old days. Just amazing!!! NOW…..he hasn’t been late for 1 show. That I’ve heard of?? Idk just thought it was relevant. Good post bro!!!
Just need to remember him in this time. He was untouchable as a front man! Vocals were so unique and powerful. I wish people would retire after their prime so we only see them and remember them at their peak. But I suppose they still need to earn a living. People only stay on top for so long, everyone has an expiry date. Axl in Tokyo was the best it gets
And then people sh*t on him for not being able to sing like this today, when he's old and has burnt up his vocal producing chords producing timeless masterpieces like this. The music fandom really is rotton.
I'm so happy I saw them during this tour. Use Your Illusion I & ll. They were absolutely superb. I loved GnR and Axl was my favorite. When he came out on stage at MSG I was elated. I was 16 yrs old.
Yes his voice was fantastic as well as his body. He was so cute!😊 I do respect him as an artist now. He has come a long way in regards to his maturity. Haven’t heard about him cuttin up!😂 I’m proud of Slash and Duff too!❤
I still listen to these guys today doing long ass bike rides through my Bay Area city just pumps me up and gives me more Energy than listening to hip hop music through out my rides love these guys there music will never die!!!
@@daginga1402 for one, Steve Adler had a solo band that covered guns songs and he had a young kid that sounded so much like axl in his prime it was uncanny. Also just understanding music, anyone can learn these talents given enough practice and a little talent that granted not everyone has but many people have. I’ve heard many 80s playlists tracks that I’ve skipped through on Spotify with some high range screamer that sounds like axl or Robert plant and they are a dime a dozen. Usually it’s some band that might of gone gold for one album and had a single but are largely forgotten.
I was standing in front of the living room tv, when "Welcome To the Jungle" came on. I stood, wide eyed, looking at this gorgeous, red headed, beated hair, rocker, and i fell in love....HARD!!! Completely covered my wall with posters of his face 😊 the best band, the best lead singer/voice, best guitarist. GnR is forever my #1 ❤
Hell axles vocals was the legendary no body could execute vocals like axle his voice is the greatest ever recorded in rock history I love you Axle baby.
All those lyrics, he sang and they way he sang them hit right in the nostalgia, especially the "ABOOVE" and "Cry Y Y Y Y Y" you can really hear the emotion he pits into it.
Hand down the best front man I’ve ever seen. I’m 50 & I’ve been to a lot of concerts. Everyone says Freddie Mercury. Freddie you gotta respect but, from 87-93 there was NOBODY ON THE PLANET better then Axl Rose. Since then I’ve not seen anyone come close. He was in incredible shape. He ran while singing for 3 hrs every night for yrs. Or every other night. You can’t even tell. I get out of breathe just singing. Never mind the 20 miles he runs in each concert. The Best Of All Time!!!
Sure we do but my love for slash, Izzy, duff, and axle will never die, my pick of that litter is slash I'm in love with still crushing on him after all these years, and Izzy oh baby I just love you to your so adorable Baby come stay with me anytime Your sweet innocent sexy baby you deserved more credit than you got every one let's bring Izzy back all hail Izzy that sexy sweet innocent angel that you are. I'll love you two guys forever all the way to the end.
This is an amazing performance! I remember. I did a review of Get In the Ring & storytime of growing up in rock & roll for those interested in my growing up in rock & roll playlist. Lots of good childhood stories. Stories behind famous songs, etc. Some I helped on.
I had my first GnR sweater n 5th grade in the late 80s. My teachers were not impressed and my dad just told them to piss off. He wasnt a fan of theirs, but he knew it was better to monitor me and that I talk with him about the music than try to ban everything and drive me to going behind his back. He did the same thing with my first Body Count tape, yes I said tape lol. He knew it was better to expose and educate rather than try to control and shelter me. He did the same thing with scary movies too. Im 45 now and am not afraid of the dark nor do I have nightmares. I learned early on that people are the worst monsters out there, and everything else was just imagination. Thank you dad keeping me based in reality and common sense ❤
Yeah, that was then . This is now . Sometimes its very difficult to watch and hear him live. Thank god i got to see him live in his hayday. Even if it took an 2 -3 hours before he felt ready to put on a show
