Love this machine in blue. Also love that it can run JELOS making dual boot with Windows possible. Great video~

Thanks so much @deadfred69 , also love it in blue! It’s a shame there’s no microsd slot to make dual booting even easier but at least the storage is relatively easy to upgrade

Hello! Is it possible to connect this console to a TV? Is there a bypass charging mode? Is it worth overpaying for a more powerful version or, if you take it, then the youngest one, since at the price of the older model it’s better to look towards Steam Deck?

May I ask, is there a reason why you avoid reviewing the interface? The OS? FPS overlay? Emulators used? Features of the Ayaneo software?

I occasionally have a firmware section but instead with the Lite used it as an opportunity to highlight my want for official JelOS - I do want to try their HoloISO build but that’ll likely be in a future video if the want is there! I definitely need to try and throw on an overlay whenever possible though as things like an FPS counter would be a good addition

This is Rog ally z1 territory. Can find that for 320-400. is the stand alone non extreme version of the rog ally a better buy than this ?

Some don’t like the ergonomics of the Ally but in my personal opinion it’s the better buy here, I’d just recommend holding one in store if possible to make sure it gels first

Games are running great on this, BotW on Wii U is no problem. Was even fiddling with TotK this morning, and that was running well in docked mode.

The chip is on the old and weak side, how come only Ayaneo has ever made anything with the 6600U? I think that chip would have a good price to performance ratio

PS3 is varies a lot depending on the game and the emulators progress this video is very racing focused too. This video does not indicate a full performance experience of the emulators including per game settings ect. I would like to have seen the OS screen before each emulator was loaded for transparency on the performance.

JelOS is amazing in all sorts of ways - but it does feature a relatively old build of the PS3 emulator that does have the odd performance issues, I haven’t tried it in Windows but I imagine it’ll perform better there
