TBH Ice Princess is the the most 'structured' with flow, rhyme, bars, chosen wordplay with a chorus (sample) and CGI visuals that I can personally think of. Yung Rapunxel is too chaotic but structured, and Chasing Time/Big Big Beat is still in that housey vibe.
1991 is definitely the whole package but if u dont think so listen to liquorice, escapades, JFK, treasure island, pyrex princess, chi chi, yung rapunxel or desperado
For a more well rounded and structured track I would definitely recommend you check out ‘The big big beat’, ‘Chasing Time’, ‘Nathan’, ‘Us’, ‘Movin on up’, ‘crown’ or ‘Wallace’ ❤ these are her more structured song in terms of verse, chorus, verse, chorus
Azealia was a pioneer of the genre we know today as “Hip-House” blending house music with contemporary hip-hop & rap styles and this is the prime example
Most of her songs don't have a chorus but some that do that you should check out is Heavy Metal & Reflective, Chasing Time, Wallace, Esta Noche and Ice Princess.
Glad you're still checking her out! I feel like you started with really "sing songy" songs. There's still harder songs out there. And as a Queer person, it's crazy to see these mainstream rap girls fight over who's the best when CupcaKke and Azealia have reigned superior.
The definition of incredibly, mind-blowingly talented at her craft but defeated by herself. She was the only thing standing in between herself and the top of the tops. Play the game and you can win it all. She wouldn’t play.
listen to yung rapunxel by her, it doesnt have an house beat like the songs you already check out by her. this is on some metal shi and she is screaming her ahh off on the chorus. it's my personal anthem when i'm angry lol.
idk now that we're learning about the rap industry i can see why she was like "fuck you guys I'll find my own way". Azealia Banks talks too much to be involved. when she came out i was big into music blogs and EVERYBODY wanted something from her, it was wild. i can see why she didn't behave appropriately in a way that was self protective
stop lying, she explain that she boiled the bones of her cat after it was already ded to get rid of the dirt (old flesh and to get rid of the smell i suppose) so she can then keep it after her cat was already buried in her house for 4 months... it may sound creepy but some people are doing that. this is the same process when you saw the bones of an animal in other places... and the people who wanted to cancelled her was others people's fanbase after azealia made some harsh criticism about pratically every mainstream artist like beyonce, lady gaga, rihanna, nicki minaj...
