PvE Why isn't this ship as good as I have heard in other threads/lists? This list is based off the current state of the CN server and the hardest content available there. However, as the EN server is nearly caught up to that of CN/JP, this list is very applicable to the current end game content on it. In general, ships with better air and anti-air capabilities are more valued at higher levels, which should be factored in when using this list.
You forget to mention Illustrious has 6 fighters meaning she has very great anti-aircraft capabilities and she has the largest air control value status which helps the team to hit Air supremacy more easy...
Illustrious with 2 +10 me155s is sky cancer remover supreme. And if your running USN CL's on your front line its like pure plane genocide. Illustrious makes your USN CL's invulnerable to airstrikes + her own fighters, Then your stupid high AA from your USN cruisers. Yea i get a chuckle when i run my pvp fleet and run up on an enemy with 3 carrier backline of Enterprise,Akagi,kaga. Its like welp illustrious is going to mvp..And she usually does with 49+ kills and 30k damage..almost entirely from shooting down planes. very little in form of ship damage because shes only got 1 squadron of barracudas. But watching carriers become non-threats more than makes up for it..I run her with Saratoga kai, South Dakota,Helena,Cleveland,Montepelier/Aurora/Sandy (i switch these out from time to time)
I knew I made the right call when I chose Ryuuhou to go along with Enterprise and Long Island for my all carrier backline in boss fleet in stage 10. It worked out well so far. Decided to stick with it even though it was made specifically to deal with those suicide boats spam in 10-1 boss battle.
Saratoga, Enty, Interpid and Baltimore, Helena and Eldridge. No one dies, if the enemy is already dead. Also, I know having 3 Carriers is Bad, just for Maximum Murica style Airforce Memes I would do it.
@@TheRealJohnux Yorktown, Long Island, Ranger, Indianapolis, Laffey and Portland. Since they were my first ships, I used this fleet in PVP for a long time. Because of all the planes you couldn't see anything and very often this resulted in a frozen frame.
It should be 60% for helena. Also, i hope fletcher get a retrofit soon and hopefully, if Uss Johnston was added to the game, i can pair up her with fletcher
Tbh I find Shouhou's skill set a lot more useful than Unicorn's. Shouhou can boost other CV's aviation by idk 15% and that's a lot better than Unicorn's reload skill.
Probably ranked lower because CVs are worse than BBs in late game when maps get lots of AA. So not only do they take less damage even if your planes hit them, they also shoot your planes down more easily.
ryuuhou I didnt know she would be as good as I thought...when i first got her I put her as a collector till i went through my ships...and saw those legs. Thats what made me want to use her...now shes a staple in my torpedo death death squad as well as my lvling lv 60+ ships on maps maps that are 12 and above.
That was the same reaction for me at first. I thought she was another Unicorn, but after using her, I quickly realized she was actually really powerful.
I'm glad Chicago cracked that tier list for heavies, she's been nuking the AI and I'm just like " why wasn't she recommended " a whole lot of " starter + Phoenix/Cassin/Dow + Helena "
MEH i think arizona works a bit better than unicorn and shohou because Arizona can fire off her guns far more often than unicorn and shohou. shes got good stats as well and doesn't cost any more than a normal battleship. I throw either the iron blood twin 380mm (person favorite battleship gun) or the 280mm triples from iron blood. The reload on them at +10 is only 13 seconds for the 280mm and 16 seconds for the 380mm guns. While unicorn and shohou both take around 30ish seconds to launch an airstrike. And arizona can absorb quite a bit more punishment because shes got heavy armor over medium armor of the 3 cvl supports.
Can anyone explain the Eldridge-Illustrious synergy to me? Seems like it might be useful for World 13 but I couldn’t find anything in Illustrious’s skills that would guarantee Eldridge’s skill to proc.
The problem with Akashi is there are certain missions for her people can't do. One of them would be completing 8-4, and some people haven't made it there yet.
