Scenario: The flames of war continue to burn as Empire troops relentlessly invade the Leceister Alliance. Claude hastily sends Dimitri a plea for aid. Though doubts were expressed about his plan, the Blue Lions arrive in the nick of time. Amidst the clashing of metal and fire, Dimitri confronts Lord Arundel and demands answers about the truth behind the Tragedy of Duscur. Placing faith in others, and moving forward in spite of the past… both are choices laden with uncertainty. And yet, those who walk in the “Corridor of the Tempest” stay confined until they start opening doors.

Personal Notes: Okay, I personally think this song suits Claude and the Golden Deer the most since it gives off the "Power of Friendship" vibes compared to Chasing Daybreak's desperate fighting vibes LOL. And so, I KNEW this song should highlight the chapter where Dimitri rushes to lend Claude aid.
It was a real treat to write lyrics where Claude banters with Judith and Hilda. Calling Claude "Leader Man" always makes me chuckle XD I also just love Claude and the Golden Deer's shenanigans in general. I would've added more from the GD cast, but I felt like it was most appropriate to just include Hilda since she canonically appears in the fight if you don't recruit her. Don't worry CF lovers! I'm so close to finishing the route, and I'll give Edelgard her spotlight once I start writing for Roar of Dominion. Although... I've also been eyeing many battle tracks exclusive to Three Hopes that I have ideas for... but it will be a while before I get to those since I'm going back to college soon! Plus, I have a Final Fantasy vocal cover that's been ready for a month, but I haven't started drawing the thumbnail art for it, so expect one more upload in the near future!

Hi, everyone! I just wanted to let you know that this is a reupload because, for some reason I cannot figure out, RU-vid randomly disabled the comment section. I basically said this: "I'm not sure if this adds to the debate, but I also wanted to say that it's interesting that Claude puts so much faith in Dimitri when one of his listed dislikes includes leaving things to chance. It really shows how much he trusts Dimitri!"

@@Cutelilpineapple Yeah it surely adds to the debate, Claude just needed someone to take care of the Aliance before abandoing Fodlan and he places a lot of trust on Dimitri by surrendering to him, it takes a lot to strenght to admit that things are not going how you wanted and there is someone else that could do it better than you, it truly shows Claude's skill as a master strategist, he is not as prideful as the other lords which makes him able to give in and do what's best for the country. Claude does not only trust Dimitri though, he has placed his trust on Byleth making Dimitri willing to help, at the end that's the truly message of Three Houses, the three lords are highly skilled and competent leaders but they lacked a truly confidant they could trust, and yeah I did just praise Edelgard even if I'm Dimitri trash, I respect her even if I think she is deeply mistaken.

RU-vid, how dare you not recommend this video to me until now?! Jokes aside, this was fantastic! Corridor of the Tempest is lowkey one of my favorite battle tracks in Three Houses, and this cover and its lyrics certainly do it justice!

THIS IS SO FUN AHHH!!! I love the consistent idea of “opening doors” in this one… It’s the perfect theme for a song about this part of the story, with both Claude and his ambitions and Dimitri trying to figure out the truth. This song also has a very…breezy quality to it. I see exactly why you chose it to go with Claude and this glimpse into Verdant Wind! Great work as always :^)

AHHH THANK YOU! I spent a lot of time wracking my brain over how I was going to incorporate the title "Corridor of the Tempest" into the lyrics, and my thought process basically aligned with everything you said! "Opening doors" can mean lots of things, so I definitely used that to my advantage. And yes! Chasing Daybreak highlights the climatic aggressiveness of war and Long Road highlights the bleakness of endless fighting, but the melody of Corridor of the Tempest has an optimistic tone that I felt suited the Golden Deer the best since VW feels more light-hearted compared to other routes.

This series that you’re doing really feels like a love letter to the game… I’m so glad that you’re doing this series!!!!! To be fair, I failed to realize I could manually turn comments back on, so I'm also partially to blame LOL. And thank you so much for your kind words, Will 🥹 I think doing this musical has made me realize what working on a passion project truly feels like, and it feels amazing! Also, yessss I do have an FF cover ready!! You're just gonna have to find out once it comes out 👀 I had to look up Moongazing and didn't realize it's from FF XVI (I've never played an FF game, but I do admire its music!). If you ever get a chance to record it, I'm sure it'll sound just as great as your other covers!!! And ahhhh what coincidence! I'm also going back tomorrow LOL. Thank you so much! Generally, writing lyrics for one song takes me a while since I want to take my time with each installment. Also, aside from being busy as a college student, I like to invest time in doing vocal covers from other video games (this is a vocal cover channel, after all haha). That way, I avoid burning myself out and enjoy the process of a passion project like the AM musical! I can't give an exact time when another song will be ready, but I will upload more whenever I get around to it :)

Only recently did I finish my first Three Houses playthrough, a Blue Lions one to be exact, and after finding this little series has been amazing. I patiently await the glorious day that Apex of the World is released (at least I assume that will be part of this series).

Ok I'm sure I sound like a broken record now, but AHHHHH I was so excited to see this in my sub box!!! I'm so sorry RU-vid messed with your original upload :(. I loooove seeing some Golden Deer again, mostly because Claude and Hilda just always make me smile. 1:27 - 1:31 made me laugh out loud - it's so in character for the two of them 😆. Your delivery of Arundel's lines is SO good, too. You've made him perfectly punchable here LOL. Awesome job as always. You do such an amazing job capturing all of these characters' personalities in these lyrics, and I can really imagine all of this playing out visually. Sidenote: As someone who played Verdant Wind and Crimson Flower before Azure Moon, 3:50 was definitely me during that reveal in-game 🤣. Though I guess it was probably everyone's reactions, but it feels like I didn't find out until like 200 hours into the game hahaha.

I’ve always loved how Claude and Hilda were practically partners in crime haha, so I’m glad their little banter made you smile 😂 Though I dislike Arundel very much, he’s so gosh darn fun to voice haha!!! Well i couldn't see your last comment but i want to say something supportive hope it ok,? and alternative instead of repeating the same comment from last night. I remember seen your bhe description saying that your creative about it been sporadic but wouldn't it best to consider it like a dandelion just when you think the wind ruin the dandelion in actually carry it to it next destination the next thing you know more dandelion will be there on a field :) it just a thought but hope you consider it that way also i did say gl on 800 subs in your last video but now congrats on reaching 800 subs you deserve it even if you consider it as a hobby

...In hindsight reprising Long Road four separate times would be pretty lame huh Pretty amazing use of the most pointless (but still pretty good) theme in the game though, the banter between pretty much everyone is really fun, and the most pronounced out of every song so far (now I'm wondering if you'll incorporate Tempest of Seasons into the project somehow too)

I’d love to include Tempest of Seasons once I figure out its place in the narrative. I’m also hoping to include battle tracks from Hopes as well!
