B-beat, Playlists: feature or bug?

When entering a playlist and selecting a song, the b-beat remembers which track you selected. However select any other playlist and it is the track number that is retained on a global basis rather than per-playlist.
Also, the stop button takes you back to the parent-menu-level, unless you haven't played a song in the playlist, which seems counter-intuitive.
Are these intentional? If so they could be more of a hindrance than a help.

Thanks for your good and informative videos on this thing! I have a question (I have ordered mine but haven’t received it yet, so I can’t try it for myself): it the list of new features in the update, it says "mono headset option". Exactly what does that mean in terms of what we can do? Does that mean that I can, with a Y-splitter cavble, send a mono headphones mix to one side, and then the other side could have just the click and cues track? And if so, does the mixxer controls only effect the one side with the mono mix, or would that also effect the other side with the click and cues track?

Thanks for the comments. I haven't used nor intend to use the "mono headset" My guess is that it is for players/users that want L+R panned centre (maybe they only use one IEM?) what (i think) you are seeking can be done as its how i work- i make a stereo track i call "click + monobacking" where click+cues are left and a mono-mix of the backing is right. If played as a stereo track it will appear in headphones as such. However, you can split the stereo track into two mono (independently controllable/assignable in b-beat) so they appear as separate tracks. hope that helps?

Thank you for a very good answer! Sorry for a delayed reply, I was waiting to test it for myself, but I can’t seem to get mine to work. I’ve spent hours loading projects onto the unit (which I thought was a surprisingly slow process in 2023), and now none of my projects will play. WAV and MP4 files. Strange…

@@ofulm sorry i cant help you further. Their tec-support is mostly good at replying. Regarding the transfer of audio/video to the b-beat, yes, it does take a while. I think this is mostly down to the conversion to the b-beat's own file-format for audio and video files and whatever magic it does out of sight.

@@SLATEB0Y Thanks! The problem was simple, though, and exactly what I though. I didn’t know it couldn’t read 24 bit wave files, which all of my files were. My bad!
