I remember Charnley's garage, they had an old Penny Farthing in the window for years. The original B&M used to sell loads of stuff, I remember they did a canned stew me and my friend lived off in the school holidays

I go shopping a lot less than I did with Chrissie and tend to go for things I want now rather than browsing about so much. Still love a rummage though!

My mum used to go shopping there every year. I went with her when I got a bit older to the old one. We were going to turn back and get something we had seen but it was impossible. It was absolutely rammed with people and trolleys.

These was the First B nM s. I ever went into when I was.on a coach holiday from London and I have been in many more since around the Blackpool area when I used to go on holiday we don’t have many in the outer London area and none in the inner London area but we are now very lucky just before Christmas we got a home bargains

Our go to shop for cheap stuff when we come down to Blackpool with our caravan. We love Cleveleys for shopping it's got everything we need .Why did you have to go by the sweets ,my husband is diabetic and I have to drag him away from the sweetie section 🤣.I once went into Cleveleys B&M intending just to buy some puppy pads as we had our 3 dogs with us, but by the time I got to checkout I'd spent best part of £50. My husband who was waiting outside said "Have you been buying the shop?". I'd been in an hour 🤣🤣.

In the 60's it was "Derby Market", a common phrase around here then. A collection of interconnected sheds with stalls. Every week we'd trace a path through this maze. What did we buy, shoes, coats, material to make sheets and pillow cases out of, moquette for upholstery.

We have one in Leigh, Atherleigh Way that used to be on Railway Road then moved to Spinning Gate B&M the Opened the bigger store off Atherleigh Way and closed the one in Spinning Gate

The first time I saw this store they had security on the door and a massive queue of people waiting to go in.

I Diane love watching you on RU-vid is there any good cafe in Cleveleys not been to Cleveleys for a long time I believe there is a good walk way to take your dogs on the front shame about tthat clothes shop closeing had some nice things from there by for now keep up the good work

If you’re walking on the front I’d suggest The Venue which is dog friendly - head north at the end of the high street. The coffee bar is excellent too on the Main Street - at the left of Poundland

it used to sell a lot of things like tinned food with foreign labels type stuff. My friend and I used to like the canned stew, we lived off it in the school holidays
