I agree with you but this isn’t how torts for defamation are analyzed. Liability would require a showing of actual malice or prima facie negligence, and they’re probably not be able to check those boxes in a complaint
Don't blame Strad... they should be upset with B Rogue for not handling the issues properly. If I were a previous B Rogue customer. I'd be upset with them because of their ignorance. My investment has lost value since they refuse to fix their problems.
@@richardmartin6533 even if they did my build right. I would show them that’s it not right to do this to a customer even though my biuld might be bulletproof
well... in this case the Strad did nothing wrong, but if a creator calls for hate or something like is another thing and they should be accountable. But they don't have nothing on Strad, they should go after b rouge
@@aysuppatruck6185 nah u probably don't have any brain how the f customer complain on strad first of all he also customer and if customer get bad service he can put a bad review on it so no people will have his experience basically we should be great full for automotive review so we can get relevant information/base on their own experience what shop we should avoid if we want something to put on our car
its amazing brogue still havent addressed the actual problem. his car. they just say the video is damaging but never try to argue about the problems with the car itself???
I think the letter to Stradman is nonsense... I'd love to see screenshots of these threats, of course the names can be redacted as they were in the letter you shared with us today.
I bet there’s no real threats. Rather, financial loss, which will always come from bad business! If there was a real threat, they would have reported it to the police. I call bullshit.
Idk if they have been treathened, maybe "harassed" if you want to call it that. All i have seen revolves around the Lambo, sure they might have been harassed or maybe even threatened etc. Still not Strads fault so B rouge are just making themselfs look like bigger fools lmao
If you provide a service (a costly one at that) and fail at providing that service, the concern should be fixing the issue, not hiding the issue from those that do not forgive scammers, or those that support such people.
Exactly. I am not a Stradman fan, but it would be nice to hear him denounce the actions of those mentioned in the letter because it really is a shame that disgruntled fans are going after completely uninvolved parties. I completely agree with some of the sentiments of this letter, but it should have been sent to B-Rogue, not the Stradman. He simply posted a review of the services he received from B-Rogue and should not by any means back down. B-Rogue alone is responsible for tainting their name and product, and they need to publicly acknowledge that they did not uphold their end of this deal and will be refunding or paying for the repairs. This is the only solution to the grievances (disgruntled fans and hate comments aside) listed in the letter.
That letter is pathetic as hell…I’m sure he feels bad and didn’t intend for all that to happen and fans can certainly take things too far. But in no way is that his fault.
But why should the come together to give him 50k? The other customers are not responsible for breaking James car the same way James isn’t responsible for his fans attacking people with BR cars
@@luisaleman7935 I said that because if they want James to remove the video then they should give him something in return. If they just want James to tell his fans not to fight his battle then sure that’s fair but to remove the video of a shotty job will come at a price
If they can find a single instant where stradman instigated an attack on B-Rogue in the video other than speaking about his experience then i'll admit they have a case, otherwise this is a throw out.
I’ve been a devout Strad fan since he was living out of his Audi, chasing cars on rodeo. It’s not his collection that makes him popular. It’s not Oscar, his purple army, or his big house. It’s his attitude and refusal to give up, no matter what life throws at him. He pretty much always bounces back. He’s a genuinely wholesome guy, and I’m in full support of him during this entire B-Rogue debacle.
Yes I think it’s pretty obvious they got paid or they begged them to do it. Strad actually has loyal followers. He’d never ask for something like that. Will be fun watching them go out of business and would love for James to actually sue them.
Sounds about right. People don’t want to accept the consequences to their actions. Maybe B-rogue should have thought about this before they send a broken car to one of the most influential automotive RU-vidrs.
Literally nothing anyone can do to Stradman. He has a first Amendment right to exercise, plus he did not say anything that could cause this harm they spoke about. More than one truth can exist at same time.
I think its more the worry that they are going to lose value on their cars and if B-Rogue was to close shop as a result, they could lose support and warranty for their vehicles. Which is fair to worry about but I don't think there is anything wrong with Strads video. They should have done a better job on his build.
Imagine someone screwing up your car and them asking you to take down the video explaining what they did to it just because they cant handle the backlash 😂
James needs to tell the children that wrote the letter he has nothing to do with what is happening to them. He posted a truthful video about what happened to him and it goes no farther than that. If they are saying he has control over what third parties do, he does not. Also I would like to see proof that anybody is in any kind of danger from the video being live.
I don't think there is a legal basis for someone to go after Stradman just because another person overreacted to a video he made. The person who performed the action would ultimately be liable. That would be like me creating a T shirt that said to do something, and then someone going out and doing that thing simply because they saw my shirt. That's pretty thin.
Those clients need to focus their efforts on B-Rogue. Stradman simply told the world his experience. Not that I support what Strad's fans may be doing, but ultimately, the responsibility falls on B-Rogue.
James clearly explained how this issue could have been resolved before he made a video about it and we would have never even known there was an issue. BRougue said no so he did what he had to do, good for him
Far too many customers have come out publicly lately claiming (with evidence) that B-Rogue did a terrible job on their car. I hope that B-Rogue will file a complaint, the number of former clients ready to testify in court against them will put them in total bankruptcy.
James gave them the chance to do the right thing since january. Maybe b-roke should just own up to the issue and help out strad. So these “threats end”
James never once told anyone to give negative reviews, threaten, or harass anyone. Sometimes people take it upon themselves to stick up for their favorite you tubers or what not, but that isn't James' Fault. While he certainly can tell people to remain civil, he doesn't have to legally or morally. It isn't his job to babysit his millions of fans nor plea with others to be decent humans.
Haha I like how this letter goes after Strad like he's the one who did something wrong. He just did a review of the product he received from them. I'm glad he exposed B-Rogue.
Stradman has every right to post his experience with a company, good or bad. Isn't that what a review is all about? I see no problem in James choosing to make a short video condemning and dissuading his followers from personal attacks on B customers, but I'd never take the original video down. Stradman has NOTHING to apologize for.
I think Stradman should mention this in a video so he acknowledges the potential problem but not take it down cause it is a review and he's just being transparent
Why is this customer letter not addressed to B-Rogue and pleading with him to make it right with strad? This isnt a strad problem, It’s a b-rogue problem. Strad has no obligation to not vocalize an honest review. If B-Rogue cares at all about his customers, previous and future, he should be working around the clock to make it right with strad, clear his name, and restore faith in his business.
Seems to me that they are worried about their 'investments' going down in value. Stradman made a video on his experience with B Rouge, nothing more. Seems the letter should be addressed to B Rouge, as they are the ones that has damaged their name and potential value of their builds.
That letter is absolute BS. A guy claiming B-Rogue customers and their families have been victimes of threats and hate speech by Stradman followers doesn't make sense! The damage to the B-Rogue brand was totally self inflicted. They returned Stradmans car in absolute rubbish condition. The car wouldn't even drive up his driveway!!!
*You'll always have people who go too far, for the things they enjoy...* That includes people writing letters, claiming they've been threatened. People have lied about that, before; to also protect something they enjoy.
This letter just shows you that B Rogue can't do anything or sue him as the have an agreement with strad, When a company takes on a project for a social media /influencer it will be broadcasted to the world and nothing they can do about it, Strad promoted them and he can de-promote them also if the work not to his liking.
The fact that B-Roke has still done nothing aside from have their legal team send out that "memo" addressing James' first video should say EVERYTHING about who actually needs respond in some way. It's not James who needs to pull down his review video....if his car had been done right, it wouldn't have existed. If B-Roke did his car right, James would have put out one of his joyful and exuberant videos that we all like seeing him make, and would have boosted B-Roke's rep even more. But for B-Roke to have used his car to promote themselves (and still have up on their website), says everything about them.
HA! ThatCarLife should be sending letters to B Rogue to apologize & refund Stradman, instead of sending letters to Stradman about the fallout from his HONEST review. B Rogue screwed their customers over, not Stradman.
ThatCarLife guy is an idiot and contradicting himself saying how B roke does excellent work. Then says that the car wasn’t running perfectly when B roke got it. Not to mention that he says he personally saw the contract. Guy was looking at his 5 minutes of fame but instead made himself look like a bigger idiot than what he already was beforehand.
Seems like an odd letter. I mean you'd think if B Rogue's work was so good and their customers stand by it, the B Rogue customers should tell B Rogue Built to make things right so their investments aren't affected. Its mad to think, this is like owning something, someone makes a bad review about it and so I go after them about the bad review cause its gonna affect the value 😆😆
They have to be insane.. and crazy and delusional.. he is also a customer and did a review … he isn’t responsible for anything that has to do with your own vehicle.. this is a gaslighting technique so they can take legal action…
I have seen some comments on Instagram when it comes to other accounts that have gotten vehicles through B rouge built. I don’t remember the exact account, but there was someone who owns a Lamborghini Huracan that tagged them as the builders and some people were telling them that their car was going to blow up and be worn. I honestly feel like people take the Internet way too seriously just let Strad man and be rogue built Sue each other and let us figure it out from there at the end of the day it’s none of our business
How much lower can those scumbag scammers go? They will steal your money, do bullshit work that takes them years to do, and then sue you for their wrongful actions?!! I hope they can never work on anyone else's car after how they treated James! 🤬🤬🤬
To me I think it’s crazy how they’re wanting him to remove his review just bcuz it’s blowing up because he’s a famous car content creator, but if a no body was to comment on it nothing would be said, and even in their message they never once mentioned about them atleast trying to do right by fixing the car nor even bringing the car up lol
Strad man spent over 3 years on a twin turbo Gallardo build. It took this reputable company 3 years. If sheepy race had this car they would have had it turned around and back in his hands even with a motor build in 6-12 months. And if he had an issue they would have fixed it. The way b rogue treated strad after patiently waiting for 3 years is unacceptable and his review was well deserved.
Wtf? Strad got scamed in more than 50k, exposed his situation and these guys act like is Strad fault about "their builds getting undervalue" go ask the people of BRogue why they work in stuff if they not capable, 100% company fault, not Stradman.
what a crock of $hit. As a small business owner, my assumtion is if I make one client upset, then it's open season on anyone else who works with me. Price you pay for being in the public eye. Bottom line, you may have had great service from a company, its perfectly ok for someone who didn't to say so.
No was you can get mad at strad for having his car delivered broken, then say you were a satisfied customer. That is so insulting. Like what the guy above said strad should be wiping his ass with that letter. That’s ridiculous.
Just like StreetSpeed717 said more or less, “silly for BRougueBuild to do ‘that/this’ to someone with such a following as Stradman”. Blood is on BRougue’s hands in this situation. James is free to explain his experience with BRouge. Stupid on their part to think otherwise.
Stradman can not be held responsible for ANOTHER PERSON(s) ACTIONS! That is not how the law works. His freedom of speech was INTERRUPTED in so many different ways by millions of people. The way those person(s) PERCEIVE the video and it’s contents are in all factuality THEIR OWN PERCEPTION of it and all of its contents/context within. He can not be held liable for THEIR PERCEPTION! A public service announcement is exactly that! He shared his experience and it is his right to!
I personally think that letter is petty. If people are threatening you, your family or your things that’s on the people who are threatening not James. That’s a petty letter the company came up with to get his customers involved to get the video taken down. James is legally allowed to make a review based on his experience. That’s like the people saying guns are the issue but it’s the people behind them not the item. same thing here. Not James issue.also sounds like a money grab
Thats ridiculous..sure there are internet trolls but Stradman didn't come out and say go leave bad reviews or troll BRB. Sounds like BRB is reaching out to customers to get some support lmao
A matter of cause and effect. Certainly BRogue underestimated what social media can do to themselves which could've been the opposite of what they're facing now if they have made the job right the first time. Surely the review is for people to be made aware of how they do business and this is what you get for doing a lazy job. Not Strads prob.
B-Rogue should not have taken on a job they don’t do, not only that they returned his car back to him not operable. You have to watch the video for your self to se what a mess B-Rogue did on his car.
Sounds like someone is worried the B-Rokue is going to live up to their new name and actually go BRokue!! I think they will be broke in the very near future!
Maybe b rouge should’ve did a good job knowing your building a car for a RU-vidr I’m mechanic myself at Lamborghini and me as a mechanic I take pride in all my work I see a lot people get lazy you can’t or like they say get the hell out here do something else 💯💯
I think the same way. Nissan mechanic here and if I do a bad job I gotta fix it correctly! In life if you do a bad job expect to be called out for it. 😂😂
Stradman needs to get a head of this. The letter was legal-eze setting the groundwork for this group to sue. Hopefully he has a good lawyer giving him advice.
No grounds to sue James, he cannot control his fans/subscribers. If they think he is responsible for there car values dropping well again that’s not James problem. If B-Rouge would of fix the Lamborghini as he asked this would not of happened. This is all their doing. He merely had an opinion on work carried out on his car.
He needs to put out a cease and desist on Palos i see this being really one sided. He wasn't happy they went to him first without dealing either with him or through lawyers. The fact they think they were wronged is something else smh
this letter is utterly ridiculous . Stradman trusted b rouge with his car for so long on top of that already making payments to damages that came along so for over 1000+ days youd expect the car to have cme back complete and his defence nearly perfect . I do get that covid was also a problem but come on stradmans doesnt have to remove anything
I think if stradman Sue's b rogue, he will wait till after he gets another shop to fix it. That way he will have an exact figure on what it cost to fix b rogues shitty work
Imagine this person thinking that Stradman is responsible for other people's actions when he never had a call to action against the company nor its patrons. Any lawsuit would be thrown out as there are no grounds to bring one against James directly.
So untag b rogue build from your posts and you probably won’t get targeted. Simple. If you don’t want to be associated with the negative then remove yourself from it don’t point fingers at others for your bs.
I think B-Rouge must have told someone to write that letter. That twin turbo kit market value will drop for sure. But people won't go behind their clients and say to remove that twin turbo kit due to an video made by Strad.
The Stradman had every right to make that video and leave a review based on his experience with B-Rouge Built. B-Rouge messed up bad and what makes it worse is it was on a car surrounded by so much publicity. Personally I would lose so much respect for James if he were to take down his "review" video. Also I don't see how this reflects negatively on cars B-Rouge has previously built. Businesses go from good, to great, to okay, to struggling, to not careing, to out of business, all the time. Just because they had worked on or modified your car doesn't mean it too is a dumpster fire. However, personally in it's current state of affairs I would never give B-Rouge any of my business. If they don't take The Stradman seriously they most likely are struggling to perform well on any of their current projects... I however wouldn't walk away from a potential car purchase just because a seller says it has been modified by B-Rouge Built.
BRB customer base needs to leave a review just like Stradman did. Stradman never accused every BRB customer of having the same experience he did speak openly about the fact that he was delivered a car well below par for a $52k dollar build of a supercar that they should have never agreed to take on.
They are just trying to cover their own butts. They are just crying now because they screwed him. They deserve whatever is coming their way. Bad business. Bad Builds. Bad Business. Period. Reviews are legal and he left an honest review. Guess they don’t like honesty
Stradman gave a review of the terrible build on his car after let have for 1,200+ days that they can't defend. No one is harassing B- rogue customers, their no reason too. This just play to take down a customer review of the business that hurting the customers investment and B-rogue itself.
Strad is not responsible for the actions of people who are not in any way shape or form connected to his channel other than being a fan. The idea that he should be held responsible for what they're accusing people of is ridiculous and I dare anyone associated with that company to prove anything Strad said in that video could be construed as any kind of instruction or missive to do any of things mentioned in that letter. Strad has always seemed to handle things above board, including the video he made, which was basically a review of their business and how they've conducted business with him. Imo, given how they've responded to Strad's video and how it seems they conduct business in general I wouldn't be surprised if BRogue were actually behind this letter. If they are it's a pathetic attempt to save face at best and maybe even leaves them open to yet another avenue to legal action by Strad. If they are behind the letter and I was them I'd stop digging that hole they've found themselves in, swallow my pride, and focus on rebuilding trust in my brand by doing a better job. Either that or gtfo of the business they're in. Because that ain't the way.
Here's the take away, the concern of threats is all bushlacka. The real concern is the devaluation of their cars built by B Rogue. It's all about the moneeey.
None of this is Stradmans fault. He jus voiced his experience. If they want the video down then Stradman better sue BRB. BRB fked up so they gotta deal with the consequences..
This is ridiculous!!!! Instead of taking B Rogue to task about their handling of this mess, they go after the actual victim. Its as if James was supposed to consider people he doesnt know exist when B Rogue didnt consider him and the consequences of screwing up the build. James has lost money and has a broken car. B Rogue caused all of this and made things worse by not simply apologising and paying to have the job done correctly. James should leave that video as is. The cat is already out of the bag. They must take this up with B Rogue.
